I Wonder: "What's your Blush for the Week?"

Blushes --- one thing I almost "never" bothered! I'll go for any blush I find because I know it'll be gone before midday! Why bother right?

But there's one blush that I've used consistently for the whole week! I can't believe I will have my own favorite blush! That makes you wonder right?

Scroll down and you'll know soon!

Natural Flush
Natural Glow

Not an obvious "blush"

My favorite blush for the moment!
Mineraux Beach Tan Bronzer!

Yes, it's a bronzer but I officially made it
My blush for the week!

When swatched,
it doesn't show up much

I like it that I can build the color by dusting it more on my cheeks, I like how subtle it looks and it lasts for half a day! I've tried using this with an angled brush, dome blush brush and even my fan brush, it all works pretty well! Just smile and dust lightly on the apples of your cheeks.....Inner glow.

Mineraux Beach Tan Bronzer
10g - Php330 (approx $7.00)

What's your favorite blush/bronzer for the week?
The blush that you're reaching out for the past days!
Spill the beans baby!
I 'd like to know! :)

Nail Art Tutorial: "Frosted Taro" Nails

Happy Tuesday everyone! Monday passed by quickly so I think this week will pass by without any problems! AYE???

Nail art tutorial! Yay!!! I've been lazy with my nails recently as my last nail art as seen here was sported for 2 weeks! Yes it survived 2 weeks with just a small chip on my left pinkie finger! :)

Some of my readers are sweet enough to email to to request for more gradient nails. I am personally fond of gradient nails as I love combining different colors to come out something unique! This isn't very unique but it's something I would sport on a daily basis :) Hope you like this!

Step 1:

Apply a base coat to protect your nails. Apply 2 coats of platinum polish. I am using ELF's.

Step 2:
Drop a thick polish of light purple color, using a brush, brush it downward towards you. Do this as quickly as possible

Step 3:

Drop a darker purple polish color on the tip of your nails and do the same downward strokes.

Step 4:

Drop 2 lines of white dots, do as many dots as you like. You can make this vertical, horizontal, or in my case, slanting.

Step 5:

Draw 5 bigger dots of Pink nail art pen, use a needle method to create a flower

Step 6:

Apply rhinestone in the middle of the flower to create a sparkly flower bud.

Step 7:

Top everything with a silver glitter polish.

Step 8:

Apply top coat, sit back, let dry, and relax :D

Enjoy your "taro" looking nails

If you wonder where I get my rhinestones?
I do have them available in my Prettynails Shop
Thanks so much for being a part of my daily beauty habit! :)
Hope Tuesday treats everyone fine!

Tip for the Day: Foundation

(note from Author: All brands discussed here are not used by author but just examples of what's out there, please purchase products at your own discretion, thanks)

Thanks for the positive responses on my series on "What do I need to purchase to start my makeup collection?". I am happy that you find it exciting to read my advises and thoughts! You don't know how much I appreciate it!!! :D Made me an energizer bunny! THANK YOU!!!!

As promised, here's the next installment, this time, let's talk about FOUNDATION!

How do you choose your foundation?

First you have to know what are the types of foundation available ---

Oil-free and matte liquid foundations -
lasts longer on oily skin, but can make your skin feels dry and flaky.

ex. Nars Balanced Foundation, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation, YSL Matt Touch Foundation etc..

Ultra Matte Foundations -great for seriously oily skin, goes on very heavy and can leave the skin very dry.

First Blind Swap Ever

When I posted the first "I Wonder" post on the best body moisturizer, the lovely Cris emailed me and offered to help me purchase a body moisturizer that she really likes. Korres Body Butter!

She didn't specify what she wants from my side of the world as she just wanted to have a Blind Swap experience. This is my first as well and all I can say, it was such a wonderful experience blind swapping with Cris! Thank you so much for the added extras! I hope you like what you got from me too! I can't wait to try the goodies :D

Thank you Cris!
