Welcome 2014! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year AMW Friends!
Wow, I have celebrated Christmas and New Year on this blog for the 6th time!  And I'm looking forward to celebrate more special days and milestones with YOU!

With our busy schedule, I am glad I was able to squeeze in a quick photoshoot at The Picture Company, SM Mall of Asia last Christmas.  For someone who is very OC, this is a very disorganized, spur of the moment shoot so I'm so glad the photos came out great!  I guess, the most important thing about family photos aren't the props, costumes or makeup, it is the true happiness and love that exudes even on still photos! :)

Overall, the schedule of the shoot was a bit messed up but I'm still satisfied with the service of The Picture Company especially our photographer Ms. Cess, she is very fun and Kyle loves her!  As for the rate, well, it is really expensive to have baby photos taken but at the end of the day, as parents, you won't think twice spending your hard earned money for your little one!  AGREE? :D

Enjoy and I hope our photos can bring good vibes to you this 2014!

Weekend Food Trip at: Yabu, SM Mall of Asia

Why do I love Yabu House of Katsu?
Well aside from the fact that AskMeWhats' thoughts of dining at Yabu were posted at the wall of "feedbacks" at various Yabu branches *shameless plug*

There's always the feeling of satisfaction when I'm craving for good Tonkatsu or Katsudon.  I've dined at Yabu SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia and SM Robinsons Magnolia numerous times but I didn't get to blog about them because I tend to order the same dish over and over again!  (Hello Hire and Seafood Katsu Set!)  Just in case you want to look back at my first time experience at Yabu, SM Megamall, feel free to revisit my blog post here

L- preggy AMW craving for Curry R-Post preggy AMW still craving for anything Yabu!

Recently, I was invited by Erika Lim of Yabu to try out Yabu's new dishes!  Thanks to her we were finally going out of our shell to try out Yabu's new offerings!

AMW Reviews: The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

Hey cleansing oil lovers!
There is a new cleansing oil in town and it is from The Body Shop!  I guess this is Body Shop's first cleansing oil and it's housed in a very cute, clear bottle that looks so good on my sink!  Aside from it looking aesthetically good, how good does it really work in removing makeup?

Okay, before you scroll down and read my review, let us just enjoy the look of TBS Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil against the product background (bagay no?) :P

The Body Shop says ---

Readers' Corner: Instant "Glow" For the Holiday

Happy Friday AMW Friends!
I recently got emails from readers asking me tips on how to look "different but not too different" this season!  Wow, that's a difficult question to ponder!  After thinking hard over the holidays *Laughs* (You guys give good exams and all of you got me thinking!)

I know what you  mean about looking "Different but not too different", I mean there are changes in our lives that we want to be discreet....like fixing your brows, enhancing the color of your hair, changing your lipstick color or wearing falsies.  When people ask you: "You look different!  Good kind of different!"  Then you can answer: "Really?  It must be my inner glow!"  *lol*  Okay, not everyone is as thick-faced as I am but a little bit of confidence for the coming year won't hurt!  Right?

Though busy, I still thought of some super simple and easy steps to enhance your beauty and give yourself an instant glow yet subtle enough for others (especially guys) to even notice!  Okay, some are quite obvious (like the polish tip) but still....it is not like you cut your hair drastically or you changed your hair color from black to neon green! :P

Something New: Asian Secrets Lulur Facial Scrub

I have heard positive reviews on Asian Secrets products, I heard their body scrub is "the bomb" so I'm not surprised they finally came up with a Lulur Whitening Facial Scrub.

I have received before Christmas and have tried this only once so I cannot give a full blown review as of the moment, plus the fact that I don't use Facial Scrubs often (probably once every 2 weeks only) I'll leave this to my family member to help me review this as well!  As for my dear AMW readers who have tried this, feel free to let me know your experience by commenting below! :)

Asian Secrets Lulur Scrubs are inspired by a most luxurious ritual used by Indonesian royalty called Lulur, originally intended for the bride-to-be to beautify, smoothen and whiten her skin before her wedding day.
