Something New: GirlStuff Nail Polish Summer 2014

Even if I don't do nail art as often as before, I still get excited when a new polish collection comes along.  Especially from a brand that is safe for pregnant, breastfeeding, even for kids!  

I've used Girl Stuff Nail Polishes for quite some time and I have to say, this is one of the best safe, inexpensive nail polish I've tried!  And what got me more excited?  When I visited their booth at SM Mall of Asia and found better shades to choose from!  I mean seriously, they have a wide range of shades that excites even ME who collects loads of nail polish shades!  

This summer, Girl Stuff came up with 4 really bright, summer-y colors! :)  I can't wait to try them!

When I was in the US, I visit Target and Costco A LOT!  I wasn't able to take "ninja shots" on beauty products (Blame Baby AMW for that!)  I was able to check out products we don't have here!  I was moping around telling Mr. AMW why can't we have it all down here....

Look what I got when I arrived!  Ahhhh, this is one of the product I nearly purchased! (aside from Almay and Neutrogena)

As a "Beauty Blogger", I never thought of myself as a "beautiful person" but just someone who writes about beauty.  When topics arise on how "beauty bloggers" should be beautiful to be able to blog about beauty products, I was taken aback....seriously..What is Beautiful for you? 

If you ask me, well, my husband thinks I'm the most beautiful woman alive! *laughs*  My mom says I'm very beautiful a day before her surgery which almost put her life at risk....that, is enough for me.

According to some of my friends (I call them MY REAL FRIENDS lol), they think I'm beautiful and you know what?  I used to think I just have a beautiful personality and that's it!  But now that I'm older (and wiser) hahaha  I tell myself I'm beautiful because God created me in His own Liking and God never fails in creating his "perfect" masterpiece.  I'm beautiful because someone fell head over heels in love with me for more than a decade *ahem* Mr. AMW --- ikaw lang ang may topak! :P

What's with the "I'm Beautiful" topic?  Well, recently, I attended Dove's 1st ever summit and I learned so much about #RealBeauty.

AMW x Beach Hut Gives: Summer Giveaway!

You know what they say about the secret to healthy skin?
Wearing sunscreen!  I didn't believe this until recent years when I started wearing them!  I used to dislike the scent and greasy-feel of wearing one but thank God more and more sunscreen companies are creating lightweight sun protection products!

One of my favorite sunscreen brand is Beach Hut!  I finished Beach Hut Max 100++ SPF recently!  I used to keep Beach Hut Lotion Sunblock SPF36 inside the car but I have to tell you NOT to do that as the extreme heat inside the car spoiled my sunscreen way before expiration date!

Happy Skin Eye Am Here To Stay 24H Gel Pencil Auto Liner Review

Dear AMW friends!
How was your long weekend? (for Philippine Readers) and weekend for the rest of the world?  I had quite a relaxing holiday and spent most of my time with the family!  And of course, I also spent most of my time testing new products I got and one of them is from Happy Skin.

Happy Skin Eye Am Here To Stay is a 24H Gel Pencil eyeliner which sounds promising when I attended the Happy Skin Summer Collection Launch last April 2. Seriously, is there such thing as an eyeliner pencil that STAYS?  You tell me! 

As much as I would love to try their black pencil liner, I got Chic Brown and Peppermint to test.  And guess what I did to really test this liner?  I used both liners on #KyleNash1stBirthdayParty were stress level is really high!  I used a gel liner on my upper lashline and used Eye Am Here to Stay Chic Brown on lower lashline and Peppermint on the waterline.  Was I nervous about Panda eyes?  YOU BET!  I had to ask Mr. AMW several times on how my liner looks when no one was watching!
