When I posted this recipe on Instagram, some thought I made Samosas! *I wish!* Sorry for tricking your eyes but it is just my simple Lumpiang Shanghai dish (Fried Spring Rolls) shaped differently!
A quick background, Lumpiang Shanghai is my favorite comfort food! As I was preparing to make some, I realized my wrapper isn't as fresh as before (as it was frozen for a couple of days already) so instead of forcing the wrapper to work against its will, I've decided to wrap it in this shape and seal the wrapper with egg white (better than water). So far, this method worked!
Ingredients:
- Ground Pork
- Lumpia Wrapper
- Finely chopped onions.
- Finely chopped garlic
- Finely chopped carrots
- 1 whole egg
- Soy sauce
- Salt and Pepper
- a tiny amount of Knorr Seasoning (optional)
