AMW Reviews: Gly Derm® Stretch Mark Cream

Happy Hump-day!
Today, I will be reviewing a stretch mark cream!  My most requested review!  Whenever I get reader queries from AMW readers, I actually turn on the OC switch and put all the mails in a separate folder so I can always look back and answer them whenever I get the chance!  See?  I really read all your mails and take serious thoughts on your queries!

Especially after giving birth, I've got the most request on reviewing stretch mark creams!  Unfortunately, well fortunately for me, I don't have much of a stretch marks issue even after having my tummy ballooned into THIS...

It must be the genes and a hell lot of luck! :)

Pampers First Php1 Million Winner

August 20, 2012 --- 2 days after I learning I'm finally pregnant, I remembered doing this shoot for Purple Groom and I had this wide grin on my face and I just wanted to shout to the world how excited I am with this news --- but I just can't.... so the mixture of excitement, extreme happiness were bottled inside me I just want to explode.

That was probably how the First 1 Million Pesos winner of Pampers felt when she saw her winning ticket inside her Pampers Baby-dry!

AMW Wears: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cognito and Lip Lacquer in Smoky Topaz

So I'm finally going out with a nude lips look once again!
Yes, I've been trying every possible combination for that nude yet "not sick" look.  I've found another great combination this time from Revlon!

I recently got the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick  in Pink Cognito and Lip Lacquer in Smoky Topaz from BDJ Elite Box Revlon Love Is On, I gave it a test drive for a couple of times and I'm ready to share my very simple day time look wearing both products.

Doing It All With the Right Shampoo and Conditioner

If you are a long-time reader of my blog, you can probably pinpoint how OC I am when it comes to my hair!  I've written about my money-saving elementary days just to buy a nice bottle of hair serum (when hair serums aren't even well-known back then!).  Yes, I have issues with my hair, my natural hair is so unique most hairstylists I visit would always say ---

"You have smooth hair but it looks frizzy, I can't explain your hair!"
"With your type of hair, the solution will always be rebond or Keratin-treatment"
"You have fine hair but since each strand is frizzy, you seem to have a head full of hair!"
"You better invest for a monthly hair treatment because your hair is extremely dead!"

OUCH ha! (Sakit niyo magsalita) :P
But instead of dwelling on my imperfections. I've realized, I just have to face it and maybe look for solutions!  The solution came in actually more than a decade after, when I started working to spend more on hair care products.

And speaking about facing what I have, my quick solution was, to go for a hairstyle that works for my hair type.  That brought me back to my "hair history".  It has always been a bob cut with bangs.  Can you spot me?  (Of course you can, encircled it for you!)

Cute di ba? :P

I  maintained that cut until I college, it has always been above-the-shoulder cut with bangs and it has to be "layered" in a way so it won't look thick!  I visit the same hairstylist for years and that's how I worked through the awkward hair stage and actually survived without people realizing it!

AMW Cooks: When Potatoes Seem Boring For You

Forgive me for the title, I just can't seem to name my "potato" dishes anymore as I cooked so many potato dishes for the past months!  Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to turn my family into Potatoes but it's just that, we love potatoes and we have loads of them back home and I need to cook them all in various ways!  It doesn't hurt that toddler Kyle loves potatoes so much so this momma will do anything to make her son happy!

Happy Toddler= Happy Mommy = Happy Daddy!

The dish turned out really well especially the sauce!  It was just an invention and the family loved it so much now I'm wondering if I can re-do the sauce! :P  Any fellow cooks out there have the same problem?
