Aveeno Baby with Active Naturals Ingredients Finally in the Philippines!

I remember 4 years ago when Kyle was born, I may look chill but I'm actually one of those moms who research on products/brands because I want the best for him.

One of the few brands that popped up my computer screen is Aveeno Baby - a brand recommended by pediatricians and dermatologists worldwide.  I remembered shrugging off my shoulder because I knew there are several sellers here and there but I just don't have the effort to go all the way to wherever it is available because I have enough things to deal with (Motherhood and all!)

So it was indeed a great year (2017) when I learned the brand finally arrived in the Philippines FOR GOOD!

"What makes the Aveeno Baby line so remarkable are the Active Naturals Colloidal Oats, a natural element filled with proteins, enzymes, lipids, vitamins and antioxidants, that when harvested make up a profile that exfoliates, moisturizes and protects skin from damaging extermal elements."  According to Johnson & Johnson (Philippines) Inc.'s Assistant Medical Affairs Officer Stephanie Lao.

Here are just some of the must-try Daily Line from the brand.

Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Moisturizing Wash

The creamy wash is formulated to gently cleanse without damaging the skin's barrier, and is clinically shown mild to delicate baby skin. Tony Moly FACETONE Creamy Tip Concealer Review

It's funny how I have a "rotation list" of concealers I use on a daily basis and I pick the one I used based from how my undereye circles look or appear on that very day!

Whenever it has to do with the undereye circles, I prefer the liquid type concealer with doe-foot applicator on a simple everyday makeup look.  One that was kept on rotation was the one I bought early this year from Tony Moly called FACETONE Creamy Tip Concealer.

Given the choice, I would go for their darkest shade Natural Beige but it was all out-of-stock in most Tony Moly stores so I gave in to the shade P01 which is Pink Beige, not my shade for sure but a perfect one if you are aiming to cover undereye circles.

Housed in a small lipgloss-like packaging, this is very easy-to-use even for quick touch-up!

Tony Moly FACETONE Creamy Tip Concealer Says ---

  • Tip type liquid concealer effectively covers blemishes with its creamy texture.
  • Covers any kind of spot; pore, blemish, dark circles, etc.
  • Thin and light contact creates a clean surface.

Shades: N01 Neutral Milk, P01 Pink Beige, W01 Vanilla Beige and W02 Natural Beige

Fashion Tips For Rainy Season

Rainy season is definitely here as we experienced a full week of heavy rains last week!  With the crazy and extreme unpredictable weather, I am not only armed with umbrella and jacket inside my car but I also bring in with me extra footwear!

But again, rainy season footwear doesn't have to be boring especially nowadays when we are spoiled with so many brands and styles to choose from.

Let's start with the brand Ipanema which I got to own way earlier than other brands in the market!  I think my first pair is still alive and kicking and it has been around 8-years old!

Ipanema Glam
Php1,095.00
Comes in 6 different colors, there's Black, Silver and Gold and you can go for subdued sweet glam with Rose Pink, Lilac and Metallic Green.

AMW Saves: Maybelline FashionBrow + Brow Precise

You know how much of a brow lover I am because I use at least 2-3 brow products a day!  That's why I fully  understood why companies like Benefit, Make Up For Ever and now, drugstore giant brand Maybelline came up with their own version of a complete brow range!

If you've seen my most recent post on how to use the 3 newest brow products I owned from Make Up For Ever, well, that technically is the "Splurge" post and I'm not continuing the post with a "Save" portion.

I didn't create a "versus" post like other because both set of products aren't exactly the same plus the shades I got are completely different so it is difficult to do a side by side comparison because if you ask me now --- ONE BRAND WON without a doubt due to shade match (hint: the splurge brand).

But that doesn't stop me from sharing how I use the 3 Maybelline brow products even if the shade matching is a bit off, so please don't rant about how "off" the color of my brows are, let's focus on the technique instead on how I would use all 3 products called ----

Maybelline Fashion Brow Precise Shaping Pencil
Maybelline FashionBrow Pomade Crayon
and
Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer Mascara

Here are the swatches and the shade names that I got to try and test.

This brow pencil is similar to that of the Make Up For Ever Pencil because of the way the pencil looks!  A thicker "brow pencil" side which is best to fill in sparse areas of your brows.

In Her Element Cleansing Products Review

When I was manning my first booth at a Bazaar I joined a couple of months ago, I chanced upon Liz Lanuzo's booth and saw new In Her Element cleansing products.  I have tried her first product called In Her Element Nourish and Cleanse Balm and the experience was extremely positive so I am looking forward to try her 2 new products that deals with cleansing --- I may not be religiously applying skincare products but I never miss a day without cleansing my face.  Cleansing is definitely one skincare secret I value.

In Her Element First Wash Cleansing Oil (Php450.00)
In Her Element Low PH Rose Gel Cleanser (Php675.00)

Let's start with First Wash Cleansing Oil.  Cleansing Oils are the makeup remover I live for!  No matter how many times I've used, reviewed and loved Micellar Cleansing waters, I always ended up using Cleansing Oils as my overall makeup remover because they melt makeup like no other!

Firstly, I love how In Her Element calls this a FIRST WASH Cleansing Oil because truthfully, no matter how many brands of cleansing oils I've tried, I ALWAYS fellow up with a second wash or even third wash!  So THANK YOU In Her Element for being honest about it!  Users must UNDERSTAND that it is best to follow up with a second wash whenever you use cleansing oils because.....it works better that way!
