Kate Tokyo The Base Zero Secret Skin Maker Zero Powder Foundation Review

It has always been Asian-made base makeup that I find works for my skin to achieve that smooth, flawless and inner-glow!  When my favorite base makeup brand Paul & Joe left the country *sniff* I knew I had to look for alternatives and surprisingly, I found it in Kate Tokyo.

Giving you a bit of my secret, I use Kate Mineral Powder Foundation as my final step when I do Bridal makeup.  It gives the instant glow without the "cement look".

When Kate Tokyo recently launched their The Base Zero line, I immediately tested their Secret Skin Maker Zero Powder Foundation even if it is meant for Oil Control (not for my dry skin)

My Choice: Travel with Rootote

When I travel, I travel as Light as possible.  The only time you'll see me lugging so much stuff was when we traveled to USA with Kyle as a baby!  But given the chance to lessen the "load", I make sure to be as effective and efficient by bringing and using only the things that works.

Just like my travel bag!  I have a HUGE handcarry bag and have an extra bag folded neatly inside my luggage so number one - It has to be foldable and not bulky!

I was looking into leather travel backpack  one time and got inspired to look for a similarly designed travel bags

I like backpacks the most for travel but of course, it's not always "safe" to carry a backpack in certain countries, I want the bag to be multi-functional that can be used as a "handcarry" bag too especially on crowded streets (less chances of bumping other people too!)  - that's my number two requirement.

Let's head on the requirement three which is one of the most important requirement.  It has to be spacious and easy to get my things - from wallet, camera, mobile phone, passport, sunglasses.

And lastly, it doesn't hurt if it looks fashionable!  Who likes to carry ugly bags anyways?

Guess what?  Found it all with ROOTOTE Bags!

The name Rootote comes from the animal kangaroo; since kangaroo’s have an inner pocket, so do all Rootote bags inside with the patented “roo pocket”.
Rootote emphasizes on the perfect combination of form and functionality, as all bags are designed to be the perfect stylish companion for travel, sports, casual-use, and other outdoor activities. All bags have the patented “roo pocket” along with numerous pockets inside and outside the bag. These bags are mostly 2-way backpack/tote bags, and have other useful features such as being water-repellent. It is perfect for any occasion and any weather.

Ladies' Special: Tongin Market

I have always been fascinated with Korean Street Food that's why that was the first thing on my "to-do" (or shall I say, to-eat) list when I first visited the country.

It has always been Myeongdong for me for Streetfood but I'm glad I joined in the Korea Tourism Organization Ladies' Tour with fellow media partners and we had our own tour guide to bring us to another unique way to enjoy Korean Street Food - via Lunchbox using Old Korean Currency.

Tongin Market

This market dates back to June 1941.  According to our guide, the market consists of more than 75 stores in which you can try out authentic Korean Food, you can even buy fresh fruits and vegetables and even manufactured goods like shoes and clothing.

Here's what to do if you are a first-time visitor at Tongin Market.
Go straight to the "cashier" section wherein you pay 5,000KRW and you receive 10 brass coins (coins with hole that olden times use) which can be exchanged for various food.  1 coin is equivalent to 500KRW and most food costs around 1,000KRW to 2,000KRW.

AskMeMom: Tips on Caring for a Sick Child

A week before I leave for Korea, and just a week left before Kyle's semestral break, Kyle got sick and worst, he is the type of kid who never complains about "Ouchy".  He can be as active as his normal self yet temperature could rise up around 39 to 40 degrees Celsius!

It started with him getting warm and temperature went up to 38 degrees.  Most of the time, I just give him paracetamol as recommended by his Pediatrician with the correct dosage depending on his weight and age.  With several sponge baths and ice on head, most of the time, it works and he gets better in a max of a day or two.

My Ladies' Special Experience in Seoul, Korea (Part 1)

Ever wonder what a #LadiesSpecial tour is?
In the first place, I didn't know such tour can exist and how fun it can be!  But truth is, this tour can be called a Ladies' Special but if you give it a little tweak, this can be a tour for everyone!

When Cebu Pacific, JG Summit Holdings Inc and Korea Tourism Organization invited me together with 8 other Media, Blogger and Vlogger friends, I knew I had to say yes because this is the chance of a lifetime for me to go back to Seoul! The last time I visited the city was five years ago and I vouched to ho back! Thank God it finally happened!

So what can you expect when you travel with Ladies?  It's a mixture of Fun, Girl-themed tours with loads of "Oppa talks"! I'm glad they inserted Cultural Tours which is very important for me whenever I travel.

Shall we start?
