Weekend Food Trip at: 26th St. Bistro

This week was extremely crazy for me!
It was officially the start of Kyle's full day in school + extra lessons.
It is also the start of my crazy week when it comes to my work.

I missed visiting my mom and dad as often as I can!  I used to be there almost everyday during summer break but now, I wish I can split my body in 2.

But I am still showing this HUGE smile on my face because I take it a day at a time... I DO worry about the future but I appreciate every little blessings every single DAY!

And this face says it all!  I thank my work that I get to bring my family at times to de-stress and bond and just enjoy what we love to do most --- EAT!

Thanks 26th St. Bistro for indulging me and my family after a LONG and Crazy day!

After Plains & Prints X Mark Bumgarner launch at the nearby location, I walked quickly to 26th Bistro St. and met with my family!  I had a nice gift for Kyle (Cars 3 surprise egg) and I was greeted with a wonderful gift for myself!

THIS SPREAD!

Warble Store Launch

What is The Art of Play?
I've seen what it is during the launch of Warble at Shangrila-Mall early this week.  I am happy to announce that my own style of playing with Kyle is similar to what they offer.

Lots of shapes, colors for the babies, toddlers and kids to touch and feel.

Action songs guided by teachers for them to have constant movement to encourage creativity, social skills and motor skills development.

I love how the Alphabet Phonics song were introduced with kids holding colorful sticks and going along with the letters of the Alphabet.

Plains & Prints x Mark Bumgarner Collection Launch

When I first got an invite for Plains & Prints x Mark Bumgarner Collection, I knew I had to clear my schedule because Mark Bumgarner is definitely a name to watch out for in the world of high fashion.  I've seen his work a couple of times especially on Heart Evangelista and his fashion screams classic, feminine and show-stopping!

Now, I did a bit of research and you would be surprised to know that Bumgarner, born and raised in the Philippines, is actually an auto sport racer in Europe, the United States and Canada and finally found his calling as a fashion designer!  And what struck me even more is that he was largely self-taught, he had no mentors and no fashion-designer friends!  He was just surrounded by creative people during his work years and learned so much from there!

You want his piece but don't have the Heart Evangelista budget?
Lucky YOU and Lucky ME!  Mark Bumgarner is bringing his fashion sensibilities over to RTW in a collaboration with homegrown fashion brand, Plains & Prints.

The Plains & Prints X Mark Bumbarner collection features 13 designer pieces that include four dresses, five tops, one pantsuit, and three bottoms that lend Mark Bumgarner's signature aesthetic to pieces that are more casual and wearable.
According to Mark: "We took inspiration from the Anahaw because it is our National Leaf and is endemic to our islands.  We also chose the Waling-Waling prints because it's considered as the 'Queen of Philippine Flowers' and one of the most prized orchids in the world."
