Weekend Food Trip at: 26th St. Bistro

It was last year we enjoyed a sumptuous meal at 26th St. Bistro after attending an event nearby.
After a year, I've decided, why not go back and enjoy yet another wonderful meal with the family?  Yes, I've dined there a couple of times alone so going out of the way on a Saturday night is something I'm looking forward to!  Because our family is simple --- we just love to spend time with each other, share stories, have fun and eat good food!

It is all possible at the 26th St. Bistro!

If the look of coffee and plating looks familiar, well, it should be!  26th St. Bistro is not just a CBTL branch, it is a concept store that serves good food, drinks, desserts and a very spacious and comfortable place to sit back and relax.

Whenever I visit the 26th St. Bistro (mostly alone for meetings), I have this default order ---

Parmesan Truffle Fries
Php255.00
The parmesan cheese gave a unique kick to the usual Truffle Fries, it has a nice "rock-salt" like texture that melts on every single bite!  And of course, it has the right hint of Truffle taste that smells and tastes oh-so-divine.

Weekend Food Trip at: 26th St. Bistro

This week was extremely crazy for me!
It was officially the start of Kyle's full day in school + extra lessons.
It is also the start of my crazy week when it comes to my work.

I missed visiting my mom and dad as often as I can!  I used to be there almost everyday during summer break but now, I wish I can split my body in 2.

But I am still showing this HUGE smile on my face because I take it a day at a time... I DO worry about the future but I appreciate every little blessings every single DAY!

And this face says it all!  I thank my work that I get to bring my family at times to de-stress and bond and just enjoy what we love to do most --- EAT!

Thanks 26th St. Bistro for indulging me and my family after a LONG and Crazy day!

After Plains & Prints X Mark Bumgarner launch at the nearby location, I walked quickly to 26th Bistro St. and met with my family!  I had a nice gift for Kyle (Cars 3 surprise egg) and I was greeted with a wonderful gift for myself!

CBTL's 2018 Gift Giving Journal Deserves Finger Heart!

Have you taken a peek though the 2018 Giving Journal from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf?
You should!  Because this 10th year anniversary planner has a wonderful design perfect for gift and personal use!

For companies who rooted in giving whole year round, I think they deserve a space in my blog + MORE!  So please share this wonderful news to share blessings in other people's lives because that is really the spirit of Christmas!

Now on its 10th year of the Giving Journal, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® celebrates its journey of giving through the years with a central theme: LEAVE A LEGACY. The brand dedicates its 10th year to its purpose - to empower each individual to live excellently and purposefully by living a life of service to others. They believe that each person has a responsibility to leave a legacy of profound good, impacting the lives of others, and that is why for 2018, the brand encourages its community to not only ask questions such as “What do I want to do?” Or “What are my goals?” but instead, to ask one’s self “What are my roles?” and “What does the world need from me?” As we set our hearts on another year, the The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®’s hopeful mission is this: to enable its community to expand their vision by including others.

CBTL Kiddie Enterprise Fair

I remembered years ago (okay fine!  Many years ago!)  I wanted to work in several well-known food chains but the opportunities weren't there!  I guess, there were so many competitions back then and HR would look at me with one eyebrow raised saying: "You're Chinese!  You don't need the money!"  (yes guys, true story yan!)  So what did I ended up doing?  Teaching kids during summer even when school starts!  I'm a professional Tutor AMW Friends! :P

Today, with millenials having more opportunities due to technology, I'm glad to say there are companies who took this opportunity and "brew" them into something even more wonderful!

Brew Your Best Year from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

This is the CBTL's Community for encoursing customers to be the best versions of themselves by putting together a Business Bootcamp for Kids!  Designed to teach kids the basics of business in an interactive and experiental way, it is a two-party activity that aspires to mold the youth into becoming the next generation of entreprneurs who will continue to pave the way for a stronger economy!

For the first part of the bootcamp, Coffee Bean Kids underwent an Entrepreneurship Workshop facilitated by their partner institution, The Ultimate Learning Accelerator (TULA). During the workshop, the kids learned the foundational knowledge and skills needed to start their own small businesses. To provide an avenue where the kids can apply their learnings, the Business Bootcamp will culminate with a Kiddie Enterprise Fair. During the fair, the Coffee Bean Kids will be selling food and retail items with one goal in mind: to create successful business ventures and return their parents’ investments through their earnings.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® invites everyone to support the Coffee Bean Kids during their first business venture at the Kiddie Enterprise Fair on September 3, 2016, Saturday! The event will take place from 11AM-6PM at the garden area in front of their Bonifacio High Street store. The brand will also be selling their teas at a special rate and promises exciting surprises for all attendees.
