Easy Pha-Max Wheatgrass Drink - a hidden gem

 

I don't know about you but I crave for flavored drinks since the moment I wake up.

It always starts with Coffee, Tea for brunch, and juices and any cold drinks in the afternoon until the evening.  Ah, I wish I'd call myself healthy, I try to eat healthily but unhealthy drinks are ruining my diet!  

Thankful I found Easy Pha-max Wheatgrass  during pandemic.  It started out me looking for drinks that would keep me safe from the virus!  When we hear the word Wheatgrass, we immediately had this "yuck" sound on top of our head.  I have to admit it, I was flinching when I first poured the powder in a cold glass of water thinking it is the end of the world! *laughs*

Who would've thought a health drink turned into a drink that I truly enjoy?  Easy Pha-Max Wheatgrass in Lemon and Honey are both my favorite!  Even the original flavor isn't bad, but since I love flavored drinks, I chose Lemon and my husband loves Honey!  I honestly look forward to have a nice drink before I eat my breakfast!

We moms have to admit that because of our busy schedule, I ended up skipping breakfast a lot of times!  Or eat late.  I have stomach ulcer and a glass helped me power up through the morning.  (Note: This is not in exchange of breakfast, be careful and check with your doctor if you are unsure.)

My mom-in-law, who's also into healthy lifestyle includes Easy Pha-Max wheatgrass as part of her daily routine!  I can't blame her, it is delicious!  You have to trust me for it!

Pixi +Rose Glow-y Powder review

 

Pixi has been doing well in terms of their star product Glow Tonic, Vitamin +C and even +Rose Colourtreats Collection.  I never doubt the brand as I used a couple of their skincare products and they always deliver.

When it comes to their makeup products, I am still unsure about the quality as I haven't tried much of them.  Thankfully, I was able to try the Pixi +Rose Glow-y Powder which is marketed as a silky-touch of Glow to brighten effortlessly!

Now before you start raising your brows as you stare on my photo and wonder: "Where is the blush?  Why can't I see it?"

I believe the Pixie +Rose Glow-y Powder is meant to be a skin/face enhancer rather than a blush color per se.  If you read the product description carefully, the product is expected to bring a veil of light, reflective sheen to complexion and is best used as blush, highlighter or eye shadow.  

Now, I like using this as a blush as I like subtle blush anyways!  But that does not stop me from using a big face brush and lightly dust the product all over my face and neck after base makeup application.  On days, I just skip powder and apply this on top of my concealer or BB creams.

OOTD: Bluer Than Blue

 

I've got this top from my favorite store at Lazada called Vero Moda.  I have been a fan of this online store because I have physically visit this store when I worked in China years back so I am confident with the quality of their dresses, tops or bottoms.

This "vaccine" top that I jokingly call is one of my favorite because it is comfortable enough to move around the house to do my mom-chores at the same time, I can easily log in to m Zoom meetings and work-related interviews without the need to change my top!

2-in-1 right?  And I also got the black shorts from the same store!

You have to make sure to purchase at least a size or 2 bigger than usual American sizing.  Their sizes are too small and I mostly go for Medium for loose tops while Large for shorts and pants!  

You'll get the hang of it!  You just need to put those designs that you want and wait for sales and promotions!

A 7-year-old superfan gets a wholesome birthday surprise from Pau-Pau

Kyle just celebrated his 9th Birthday and I can still remember the exact day he celebated his 7th!  It was the start of COVID-19 Lockdown and I did everything I can to surprise him in my own simple ways.

7th Birthday for boys are so important, imagine 18th birthday for girls!  That's why there is a story that has been rounding the media that caught my attention.

A superfan gets more than his birthday wish granted foodpanda’s official mascot, Pau-Pau, has been making rounds on social media, garnering attention due to his adorable look and quirky nature since his introduction early in January.

The admiration for the character has reached new heights, with the furry panda capturing the hearts of young fans. This is particularly true for Pau-Pau superfan Kicho whose only birthday wish was to own a Pau-Pau stuffed toy. But his expectations were exceeded when foodpanda surprised the now 7-year-old with a full-blown Pau-Pau-themed birthday party.

It all began when the child’s godmother, Chris Mallion, posted on a local Facebook group widely known as the Best of The Best Manila in hopes to turn his wish into reality. There she sought suggestions regarding stuffed toy customizations - the alternative, as official Pau-Pau merchandise is not yet available within the country.

She later on revealed that foodpanda had stumbled upon the post and organized a way to grant her godson’s wish. Instead of just a Pau-Pau stuffed toy, Kicho turned up on his birthday, greeted by a full-blown Pau-Pau-themed party complete with souvenirs, decorations, and food.

“I am touched to my core and am utterly grateful to foodpanda Philippines for making my godson very happy!” Chris said.

The surprises don’t end here. Stay tuned for announcements for the chance to meet and greet Pau-Pau as foodpanda gears up to bring him to more places in the coming months.
