HSBC Credit Card Gives Kenneth Cole Reaction

HSBC Credit Card (Philippines) had a promo for first time approved customers. A Kenneth Cole Reaction Wallet and Key Fob Premium.

What I did is to apply online, fax the requirements and after approval, accumulate Php 3,000 (approx $68.00) worth of spending. In which I did with my P&J Loot.

I was so excited to get this, but as I finally received this, I can't help but feel disappointed as the quality is not that good as compared to it's "brand name".

If you check the above photo closely, the wallet is not "aligned" and the key chain wasn't made nicely as well. Well..what can I say? It's FREE, but still...if Kenneth Cole put it's name up there, free or not, they should have made the wallet a better quality!

I just can't believe I applied for a new credit card just for this. HAHAHA I am a sucker for freebies! (who isn't?) And you know the funny thing? Just after I got approved, HSBC has a new and better promo! Free cellphone for approved customers! Darn huh? Oh well, things company do...

"Are you a sucker for freebies, too??? "

Oh well, happy weekend everyone!
I had my hair pampered...
Hair manicure....
a trim...
it was fun and relaxing!

  2. I wanna see how it looks like inside. I'm more sucker at packaging :D pretty makeup packaging and stuff lol So is this wallet made of leather or something else ? It looks cute with key chain holder though. Most of time, freebies are not good quality like you said =/

  3. Trinh, sad to say, NO..we tried changing it but the lady was saying we have a "product number" as unique for each client (DUH) oh well..it's free...

Nabi, it looks nice inside, I may try to take a photo of it and add what it looks like inside in this post...it is made from real leather, but I guess the lowest type. But again, it's ok, it's free! :D

  4. Well sis... banks never run out on how to earn money from their customers. I never use my credit cards as spending power. I always pay them off soon as I've received my bills. I hate the thought of paying interests ;) and... being in debt ;)

  5. *high five* Me too Sis Gracie! I always pay in full before the due date as I hate interests too! I don't want the banks to make MORE money! LOL how are you doing sis! You're still busy?

  8. Well, I'm proud to say I'm not a sucker for freebies. At least not the types that have me sign up for something...cause I'd be too lazy to go through with it. But you're totally right, a brand name is known for its quality so regardless of being a freebie or not, they should really put much more thought into the making process. This is nothing compare to your P&J freebie!!!

    Have a great weekend dear!

  13. Sab, yay for freebies! sorry to hear about the Elianto! I was told before about buying a certain amount and you'll get freebies too! I stopped myself as I knew I'm not going to use it!

Beetrice, they don't? They Should! I believe that's their marketing strategy!!!

  14. well, they do...but it's usually quite cheap-quality stuff like notepads and generic pouches - hardly inspiring...

  18. i love freebies too in any form lol. i prefer makeup or fashion items, my daughter prefers them in free taste (in groceries) haha! and oh, that was tough luck on the change of offered item! a celfone would have been waaay nicer than a cheap wallet and keychain lol.
