I Wonder: "Straight or Curly?"

My hair has always been on a safe mode. Either I tie it up on a ponytail or I let it flow. My only hair styling tool is my trusty Philips JetSet Control blowdryer or most of the time, as simple as a fan to dry my hair.

Then, I upgraded for a flat iron, because of my super layered locks, I wanted to create a bit of "volume" with a flat iron, so it's either a blowdryer or a flat iron, and I'll be fine!

Just like a baby who crawled first then started to walk and run. I am now using my curling iron more often! I've reviewed on my New 1.5 inches curling iron from Remington and I'm loving it.

So a question came into my head which I would like to know what YOU would say ---

I Wonder:
"Are you into straightening or curling your hair?"

**note: My hair color is the same,
just that the straight photo doesn't have a flash
and the curly hair photo has flash on :)

I am into curly hair nowadays. With the right curling product and right heat protection. I am game for lovely curly locks that lasts a day! :)

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  2. I leave it as it it (not that I don't like wavy hair, I am just way too lazy to even use a blow drier), which is pin straight most of the time and wavy if I go to bed with damp hair.

  3. I usually scrunch my hair to make it curly, but sometimes I straighten my hair. But I've stopped doing that so often cause I'm too lazy, lol.

  4. I'm more of a straight hair person because it takes less than since my hair is pretty straight to begin with. I usually save curls for special occasions.

  5. your hair is so long and beautiful! Its beautiful straight and curled!

  8. the curls are lovely on you, i must say, but to have such nice curls, we do need super layered hair, that's what my hairstylist told me. :(

and if girls like me with thick and hard hair, having super layered hair + laziness (no blow drying/ straightening) = pouffy hair = disaster!

    sigh :(

i do envious you pretty shiny hair!

  9. It's my frustration to have big locks.. My hair won't budge. I once tried curling my hair permanently, 3 hours of medicine on my hair and yet my hair was iron straight after. haha

  10. Keep it straight, that way you can play with it. I keep it straight so I can curl it, crimp it, do watever if I wanted to =P

  11. Awww... i'm sure you'll look lovely either ways!! :D Your hair is so shiny!! :D

  12. i think u look great with curls too! add points to your charming-scale :D but i have been a straight-hair all my life. had curly hair for a while..and everything thought i looked 5 years older =/ to add salt the wound, once a little girl called me 'auntie' at a park...damn.

  13. i'm still a fan of straight hair :) probably because i grew up with curly, unmanageable, wavy hair :( but it's nice to have sexy curls once-in-a-while :)

  14. Bouncy, lovely curls are great once in a while :) But keeping it straight will give you more options. I love curling my hair when I go out and party and I keep it straight when I go to school. I also like to try those sexy, "beachy" waves that I see on YouTube. So yeah. I think dyeing your hair is the way to go! (so out of the topic, I know. Hahaha!)

  17. i am totally into straights because im lazy and they are so much easier to maintain. :P
and plus if i have straights from day to day, i can have a vaa vaa voom curl for those special dinner nights. :)

  18. Definitely curly hair! I love my straight hair (which I barely ever brush to create big messy sexy hair) but I love the effect curly/wavy hair has on most girls. My only problem is that hairsprays tend to weigh down my curls almost instantly. So in short, I'm still on a hunt for the best hairspray for me.

  23. *Nehs* , oh babe! You look great in both curly and straight!

Y, it's nice to know, as I believe a lot of people go for straight! :)

Plue, I guess you're right, if your hair is layered, curl gives out a nice volume..but if you have a lot of hair, aside from the "poof" it'll take a lot of time to create curls!

  24. Cabyness, wow, I never thought of curling my hair permanently, I want various hairstyles :) I am sure I will miss straight hair if I do this permanently, sorry you have to go through all these!

  26. Noelle V. Dotillos, same here! I have tried beachy waves and it looks cute! I am into hairstyling too :) Dyeing the hair? lol I do dye my hair once in awhile and it gives this "ooomph" factor..but its an added to dryness factor too!

Catherine, no way! Don't tell me you're not coordinated? I know you are!

  27. LyNn, so true...I know what you mean, that's why I look up to people who has permanently curled their hair! If I did mine, i'll probably be in front of the mirror, using a hair straightening pulling my hair! LOL

Tish , you look great with big curls because you have such a pretty small face :) Goodluck in searching the best hairspray!

Khymm, yes, a good hairspray and curl activator is needed, I am on the hunt too, I've found a couple but I still need to try more!

  28. I love both, it really depends on your mood and the occasion, right?!

Your hair is really beautiful and so well conditioned.

Me, I stay with my naturally wavy hair...I really don't do anything but blow it dry and put a bit of wax or paste in it.

  31. I love curly hair but I have straigh, flat hair that won't hold a curl for long so I don't even bother, I just leave it as it is. Your hair looks great either way!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love your hair curly!! The color gives it extra oomph too.

As for me, I don't really style my hair. It's either straight or a little wavy depending on how it dries. Hehe.

  36. My hair hates anything that isn't straight :(
I spend time to curl it, and even with products...in 30 mins...POOF straight.
