How Does L'Oreal Color Riche L’Extraordinaire Look On a Regular Person?

Not bad I must say!
Drugstore brands like L'Oreal, Maybelline, Revlon, CoverGirl and Max Factor are really up'ping their "pucker game"!  I don't know about other Make Up Artists out there but I actually include these brands on my professional kit!  It is because they are THAT good to be included in the kit!

Just when I thought L'Oreal stopped creating more lip products after the success of ---
L'Oreal Collection Star
L'Oreal Shine Caresse
L'Oreal Color Riche Intense Color Nourishing Care Lip Gloss

Who could imagine there is another line that is as equally good, if not, even better?

The L'Oreal Color Riche L'Extraordinaire!

This is packaged in a lipstick-looking tube, but looks can really be deceiving!

After years of research, L'Oreal paris brings an "oil and color alchemy" which adds a new dimension to color for the most perfect lips!  "L'Extradordinaire is much more than a traditional lipstick, gloss, or a balm", shared Trisha Chua, the Group Product Manager of L'Oreal Makeup Designer/Paris.  "Whereas traditional waxes found in traditional lipsticks fade and mask the color pigments in the formula, the precious oils in L'Extraordinaire allow these pigments to reveal their full intensity."  The result is unparalleled color that embraces every surface of the lips.
You can't seem to imagine what I'm trying to say?  Let me show you.  But first, let me talk about the packaging!

At first glance, it indeed look like a regular lipstick bullet,
(new packaging all wrapped and sealed with manufacturing date printed)

but once you twist it open, there you see a doe-foot applicator which made me immediately thought of a thick, gooey lip gloss!  But it isn't that at all!  The texture reminds me of so much of Maybelline Lip Polish by ColorSensational!  Same pigmentation, same glossy finish!  But, I'm happy to announce that L'Oreal Color Riche L'Extraordinaire is more hydrating.  No wonder, upon reading the ingredients, it contain Argan Oil, Lotus Flower Oil, Camelia Seed Oil and Rosa Canina Fruit Oil thus this lip product gives my lips that comfortable, non-drying feel.

Shades on spotlight:
L-R Ruby Opera, Rouge Soprano, Coral Encore, Rose Symphony and Rose Finale

Now check out how these color look on me!  I wore minimal to almost "no makeup" just for you to see how each lipstick shades change the way I look.

102 Rose Finale
I call this very natural, romantic, rose pink shade.  This lip color is perfect even for girls who don't wear much makeup!

201 Rose Symphony
Rose symphony is the perfect pink color on me.  It doesn't look too bright yet, it does not make me look sick at all!  This shade reminds me of so much of a perfect-looking rose!  The shade works well on almost all skin tone!

202 Coral Encore
Just by it's name, Coral encore is definitely perfect for coral lipstick lover!  On my highly pigmented lips, the effect is more medium reddish orange with loads of shine!

301 Rouge Soprano
Almost close to MAC Ruby Woo!  This is a deep warm red shade that probably has a lot of dupes out there!  But hey, if I need red lips minus flaking, I'll definitely reach out to this!  I can easily mattify this by blotting my lips with a tissue paper or tap a translucent powder on top!

304 Ruby Opera
Ruby Opera and Rouge Soprano looks almost the same on me.  Just so you know, in person, Ruby Opera has a bit of a darker red tint so if you are the type who likes the "dark, vampy red" effect, go for Ruby Opera!  It looks really sexy especially on a night out!

There are 10 shades available to choose from priced at Php595.00 (approx $12.00) at L'Oreal counters near you.  I am extremely happy with this set of lip product as I find myself going for this on a daily basis!   I like how versatile these lippies are!  For a sexy effect, I apply 2-3 layers of this, on days I have my active toddler with me, I prefer to blot after application for a "matte" and toned down effect.

What's your favorite shade?
Do you know you can also match your lipstick and nails?
