#RemoveYourMakeupMovement with TBS + Giveaway

After the fun and successful workshop with The Body Shop last Saturday.  I've decided to create a post on the Camomile Cleansing Range which I highlighted during the workshop!  I hope the participants didn't feel like I'm hard-selling them (because truth be told, I wasn't paid to say good things about any of the products mentioned during the workshop).  I just realized how much I am in LOVE with this range I've decided to share my thoughts and review on each product from the Camomile range in this blog post because I'm sure some of you who weren't able to attend are quite intrigued with the said range.  And as you all know, it is very important for me (personally and professionally) to highlight makeup removal before going to bed --- because that is my ultimate secret to having good and healthy skin!

So before I remove all my makeup from a day's worth of activities --- makeup + dirt + oil, I have to be honest, I did a bit of powder retouch so I don't look too stressed from the day's busy activities --- here's my day time makeup look before removal.

Now hold on to that photo (above) because I will share to you first the products that I've used from the Camomile range.  I don't use all 4 products at the same time, I use each product depending on my mood and depending on what type of makeup I used!  I will share in-depth thoughts and reviews on each product as you scroll down!

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

I've loved this cleansing oil dearly and actually repurchased so many times and finished the whole thing for the past 1.5 years since I started using it.  At first, I was a bit hesitant because of the texture of this oil cleanser is "lighter" than most oil cleansers I've tried!  The pump did gave me a bit of a "turn off" because cleansing oil were shooting everywhere each time I try to pump!  

Now, after using this a couple of times and enjoyed how lightweight this oil felt yet hardcore in makeup removal, I set aside the fact that the packaging can further be improved but instead, loved this dearly because it never blurred my vision and it can remove certain eyeliner and mascaras that are extremely waterproof!  I don't mind the extra step of removing waterproof eye makeup because I really take time in removing them using a separate eye makeup remover.  More details below.

The Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

 The consistency of this product is just like "Pond's cold cream" but a bit lighter.  This is a gentle eye makeup remover than crean remove regular eyeshadows, brow powders, non-waterproof mascara and probably not-too-hardcore eyeliners!  I use this on days I don't wear a lot of eye makeup and so far, this product also does not blur out my vision and never sting the eyes!  For the Camomile range, this is my least favorite product not because the product doesn't work, it is the fact that I wear waterproof makeup ALL THE TIME!

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover

One of the best eye and lip makeup remover I've tried to date!  This product comes with makeup remover and "oil" that helps remove waterproof eye and lip products!  This product is extremely good in removing even my most hard-to-remove lip product!  As for eyeliner and mascaras that are hard to remove, I find pressing a bit of this product with a cotton pad for a couple of seconds can help melt away makeup!

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter

 The most unique makeup cleanser from this range.  Who needs butter when you already have oils?  Well, after using this for a couple of days, I find this is the best product to remove makeup when you need the extra relaxation from a day's work!  The butter feels like butter on hand but with gentle massaging motion, the product melts into a lightweight oil texture thus it can literally melt away even waterproof eye and face makeup!  Now, what makes this work even better?  When you use this together with a Muslin Cloth!  As I stated over the workshop, once in awhile, we need to exfoliate our skin from all the harsh makeup we put on our face, with the gentle texture of the Muslin Cloth, you get to exfoliate and remove dirt, grime and makeup in the most gentle manner!

And now, on to my own make-up removal!  I picked Camomila Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover and a clean cotton pad.

Pressing the product gently on my right eye area for a couple of seconds and gently glide the cotton pad downwards to remove liner and mascara too!

As for the rest of my face, I used Cleansing Butter with a Muslin Cloth and here's my @RemoveYourMakeupMovement photo!  A half-faced photo to show you how clean my other face face look using only 2 Camomile products from The Body Shop.
