My Kitchen Helper: Glad Products

When we moved to our new home 2 years ago, Mr. AMW and I bought in a lot of plastic containers to store leftover dishes and other food items like crackers, chips, nuts, etc....  Turns out, using these plastic containers to store our leftover dishes aren't as money-saving as we thought it would be.  Food gets spoiled easily, chips and cookies lose their "Freshness" state in just a day or less!  I might as well throw all our money to the trash bin!

Last year, I've read this article from www.yummy.ph  and it was a lightbulb moment for me!  I always have Glad products in my kitchen (hoarding problem girls! :P)  and I use them mostly for cooking!  Ex. Extra Wide Seal variant to marinate my meat dishes

Just like my recent AMW Cooks recipe.

Now, I can definitely store food and snacks in these Extra Wide Seal plastics!  Then when we go out, I can definitely store Kyle's cookies, bread and some chips on the quart size zipper bags!  They maintain freshness at the same time, space-saving!

On to the Cling Wrap that I mostly use to wrap my head whenever I do "hot oil" treatment (It's a Beauty Blogger thing, Sorry!)  I am learning to wrap my vegetables before storing them into the fridge!  That does not only seal in freshness for the vegetables, they are hygienic!

Cling Wrap (30cmx30.5m) for Php89.40

And thankfully, Glad came up with a Mini Cling Wrap for smaller vegetables and fruits.  These can also be used to wrap small bowl of dishes for my son instead of having them exposed inside the refrigerator.

Cling Wrap mini (20cmx20m) for Php55.00

And thanks to Glad Philippines for sharing their newest product in the market, the Glad Press 'n Seal which earned so many thumbs up from fellow mommy bloggers!  Glad Press 'n Seal is a multipurpose sealing wrap that is BPA-free and super leak-proof because of the airtight seal activated by pressure!

Glad® ClingWrap is available at major supermarkets nationwide at SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, Shopwise, Rustans, South Supermarket, Robinsons Supermarket, Waltermart, Landmark Supermarket, Cash & Carry, Unimart, Makati Supermarket, Hi-Top Supermarket, Cherry Supermarket, Puregold, Metro Gaisano, and Pioneer Center.
