There's a New Facial Oil in Town --- Marula Oil

Even with dry skin, I find myself veering away from anything "oil" on my face!  The first oil-based product I've used is Kiehl's Midnight Recovery, which worked for me by the way.  Afterwards, I've heard so many brands coming up with their own version of oils and I find myself staying shy and just going for what works for me.

Recently, I got Marula Pure Beauty Oil for review.  I was extremely hesitant and did my research first.  Marula Pure Beauty Oil is the only doctor-endorsed and scientifically proven all-natural beauty oil.  It is the ultimate age-defying beauty oil made from 99% marula oil with 1% blend of natural essential oils for a light, natural scent.  This is complete free of preservatives, synthetics and parabens which gave me a strong push to try out this product.

The Pure Marula Facial Oil is housed in a glass bottle with a "dropper" which I appreciate.

The Pure Marula Oil is known to contain 60% higher antioxidant level than argan oil and is more powerful in fighting free radicals that cause pre-mature skin aging.  It also has high content of omega-9 fatty acids that provide superior moisturizing adn skin softening benefits without the greasy look and after-feel.

Now I did used this for a month but not on a daily basis.  I used this product approximately once or maximum twice a week when I feel like my skin is dehydrated.  And so far, I like that the oil has a perfect amount of hydration that can immediate soothe dry spot.  Best of all, it never gives me the heavy, oily or greasy feel I am most scared off!

The good part, the oil gets soaked into my skin leaving my skin not only well hydrated but I can definitely see a bit of "healthy glow".  And it can actually lessen some red spots especially when I have some allergies on the cheek area.

As for the scent, it has a faint eucalyptus scent (I could be wrong!)  But it isn't too overwhelming and I actually enjoy the experience during application.

Keep in mind that a little goes a long way!  If you have extremely oily skin, you may want to apply just a tiny bit on areas that needed most hydration and best to start during night time.

Pure Marula Oil is available at the beauty section of the SM Stores in SM Aura, SM Makati, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA and SM Mall of Asia. For updates, visit www.fastbeautyph.com and follow them on Facebook and Instagram at @fastbeautyph.

Have you tried Marula Oil?
I've done some research and some even use the same oil on hair and body!  I will definitely give the "hair" a test and see if it'll help!

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  1. I use sunflower oil to remove stubborn makeup but I still wash my face afterwards because oil felt to heavy on my super oily skin.
