Gentlest Range of Baby Products from Johnson's ?

When I received this huge crate of products and unboxed them, this moment brought me back to so many good memories!  Most of us probably (in one point of our lives) used this brand, I even went back to this brand when I gave birth to Kyle!

Then several brands came in and it was the battle of the "gentlest skin and hair care products for our babies".

Thankfully, our loved brand Johnson's did not stop on this race, they came back with the gentlest ever range with the addition of new range --- JOHNSON'S Cotton Touch.  This range I immediately spotted is the best hypoallergenic care for newborn sensitive skin because these are free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates and dyes and designed for ZERO irritation.

Why, thank you JOHNSON'S!!!

If you want to know the changes done, I've done a bullet-point for busy moms out there for our peace of mind --- (Note: These information was taken from JOHNSON'S and I am definitely testing these new range out!)

  • Purposeful ingredient choice: JOHNSON'S carefully considered every single ingredient in the range rejecting over 400 ingredients during reformulation.  All the ingredients lists have been cut in half and replaced some ingredients in the process to make this new range totally free from parabens, phthalates and is now entirely free from sulfates and dyes.
  • Fragrances designed with mom and baby in mind: JOHNSON'S retained the iconic scents for their classic products and for the rest of the range with fragrance - these are formulated to be free of allergens.
  • Parent and environmental friendly packaging: these new bottles are equipped with pumps designed for easier and one-handed use for parents and have also been developed using a patented system that allows products to be biodegradable, nontoxic and will not bioaccumulate in the environment.
  •  Products specially designed for every age and stage in a baby's life: I am grateful with their ACTIVE line which is perfect for Kyle!  These products does not only cleanse and moisturize but there are some in other ranges that address special skin needs of babies.  (4 stages: Original Category, Newborns straight from Birth, Active Babies on the Move and Independent Toddlers)

Johnson's Milk + Oats Review

When Kyle was still a Baby, I am very particular with the bath product he uses.  But now that he's almost 4 years old, I told myself I will use whatever's available because I don't want his skin to be too sensitive like *ahem* his mom so I want him to get used to different brands!

And just when I thought I was being a cool mom for not being "OC" about his skin, it backfires on me because Kyle is suffering from Dry, Itchy and worst, skin irritations!  We literally had to bring him to his Doctor to have his skin checked!  True enough, he is suffering from Clinically-visible Dry Skin!

I honestly felt bad!  But what's a mom to do?  Instead of moping around blaming myself, I have to thank my SampleRoom family because they recently sent me a Johnson's Milk + Oats package so I gave it a test right away!

Finally, I'm ready to share my thoughts on the power of 2!

#PlayForReal with AskMeMom and #KyleNash

What my brother told me, when I was a baby, my mom just leaves me inside the "wooden crib", without any toys, with just a single bear that I hold on to.

I was the youngest child, with 3 toddlers running around the house without any househelp (yaya), I don't feel bad anymore that I don't have the much-needed attention most babies or toddlers get nowadays!

You know why?  Because I grew up to be very creative with my existing resources, talent and time.  I may not be the top of the class or the best of the best but I know I've created a tiny spot in this big world.

I'm sharing this mini  tidbit about myself because over a month ago, I got an invite to #PlayForReal with Johnson's.  Unfortunately, because of my extremely busy schedule with works here and there, I didn't make it.  But Johnson's Baby Philippines was kind enough to send me this set and I got to understand what they are trying to tell moms today.

Creating fun experiences with your kiddos using their sensory organs.  Again, I'm not implying that electronic devices are bad, they aren't!  They are really helpful with my son's learning, but I highly recommend adding the "old school" learning of getting down to your knees using your hands to get dirty!

AskMeMom: Johnson's Baby Signature of Love Videos

A couple of weeks ago, I shared my very own SOL (Signatures of Love) announcing to the world my way  of showing unconditional love to my dear Baby Kyle!  I always have this mini conversation with Mr. AMW telling him how much I wish Kyle would have a recollection of the memories we had from newborn up to the present.  It must be my hormones going melodramatic but I'm glad Mr. AMW always has answers to every situation I'm in!  He told me that the mini kisses, gazillion hugs and one-sided conversations I had with Baby Kyle may mean nothing to the entire universe but it means everything to our little one!  It's a bond between me and my baby and it's a connection only a mom and baby would know!

Mr. AMW is right!  Kyle reacts to all my "gigil" moments with him!

If you ask me, YES, I currently have thousands of photos of Kyle's different facial expressions and I'm sure mommies out there can relate!  Who wouldn't melt seeing our little ones reacting to our different Signatures of Love?

AskMeMom: My SOL (Signatures of Love)

Hi Mommies out there!  Can we go sentimental and talk about our experience as a mom? As a first time mommy, I feel like this is the highest point of my life.  The feeling of hearing baby's first cry on my last labor "push" was so surreal I get to replay it inside my head over and over again.  I nearly broke down in happy tears but instead, I kept my cool as I know I won't stop crying inside the labor room!

Most readers of AMW would know that I gave birth to a full-term but very skinny baby.  Baby Kyle Nash was only 4.8lbs and even before he came out of the world, my doctor was quite worried about his health which puts both Mr. AMW and I in a very stressful situation!  Of course, as a mom, I am more worried than anyone else so I prayed to God every day for baby's safety and vouched to do everything I can to make him the healthiest, happiest baby in the block!
