Mustela Maternite: For Mothers and Mothers-To-Be Launch

I always get email queries on the right products to use during pregnancy and after giving birth.  There are so many brands out there to recommend but on top of my list, I always mention Mustela.  I used various Mustela products on Kyle Nash and I wished I used more for myself!  Fellow mommies would understand, how exciting it is, yet difficult pregnancy is for our bodies.  Not only did our body changed but also our psychology and emotions.  Saying this statement like a Ms. Universe contestant: "I believe in giving attention not only to our kids but also to our own bodies!"

That's why when I received an invite to the launch of Mustela Maternite, I knew I had to be there even if I'm not pregnant and Kyle is definitely NOT a baby!  This product range is definitely for everybody especially moms like me who have underwent body changes after pregnancy.

Unboxing BDJ Spring into Beauty April 2015 Box and My Thoughts

You have probably seen several unboxing of the BDJ April 2015 box from other Beauty Blogging sites!  I'm so sorry I'm too late but I have to still post this and share my thoughts.

As much as I would LOVE to say I love this box dearly like most of the BDJ boxes I own, I am on lukewarm water on this month's box because for the fact that I have enough bath products as of the moment!  (Totally not BDJ's fault).

This month's box is called Spring into Beauty, what the team calls, the "secret to overall radiance".  True enough, the contents will help keep your skin radiant because of the presence of exfoliating products, a sample of a BB cream and a highlighting palette.  

I say, it is not enough!  I wish they included at least a sample size of a sunblock or sunscreen! 

But is the box worth it?  As always, it is worth every single cent spent as you get at least 5 full-sized products.

AMW Reports: Mustela "Nurturing Skin Care" Event

If you are expecting, a new or even an expert mom, you probably heard about Mustela.

I heard about Mustela the moment I knew I was expecting because my good friends have been singing high praises about the brand!  I, of course, was busy with my 6 months worth of  morning sickness so I did not bother use any product on myself during those times! 

Then came my super adorable Baby AMW! Thankfully, I was gifted a Mustela Bebe Trial Set and I fell in love with the Mustela No Rinse Cleansing Fluid and Dermo-cleansing gel for hair and body that I ended up purchasing for full size!  And of course, the Mustela shopping continued, I hoard on wipes (they are winner!), the Foam Shampoo and the Physiobebe Cleansing Fluid!

So when I got an invite to know more about this Nurturing Skin Care line, I had to free up my schedule and see what other products I should get addicted to!

How are you today?
Well, I'm doing okay!  Really tired yet extremely happy to have such a wonderful bundle of joy!  And you know what I realized?  Receiving gifts will never be the same if the gifts are for your baby!  

No matter how many times I received gifts for Baby AMW, the happiness I feel is immeasurable!  That includes July 2014 Glamourbox called Beauties & Babies!  Though I am extremely happy with all the boxes I get from Glamourbox, this box is different because I knew the box contain goodies not only for me but for my baby!

Thank you Glamourbox for this lovely box and for creating such a wonderful box meant for mommies or soon-to-be-mommies who still want to stay beautiful for herself!

AMW Reviews: Mustela Facial Cleansing Cloths

Hi Mommies and non-mommies out there!  Today's review is about a facial cleansing cloth that I swear by --- Mustela Facial Cleansing Cloths!  If baby AMW doesn't need it, I won't mine using this all over my face and neck as it definitely is the sweetest, most wonderful smelling facial cleansing cloth I've tried!  

Here's the good and BAD thing about trying out samples!  My "to buy" list goes on and on and on and I don't know when to stop anymore!  

After receiving a huge package from Sample Room for being a Partner Blogger, one product I immediately used even without taking photos yet is the Mustela Facial Cleansing Cloths!  If you have a baby, you will understand why you need such thing!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a lazy mommy, baby AMW takes a bath regularly but because he drinks my breastmilk from the bottle, sometimes, they tend to spill all over his chin and neck!  At the end of the day, instead of sniffing a sweet, smelling baby, I smell spoiled milk! *ewww*  Mommies would agree that cleaning baby's neck is quite challenging (with double chin and weak neck) plus the extra wiggling and shouting!

Washing the neck area with cotton and water isn't enough so I prefer using a facial cleansing cloth that's alcohol-free and of course....smells great!

AskMeMom: Newborn Must-Haves

Good morning and happy Friday!!!
Today, I'm very excited to share my first "legit" post on AskMeMom.  Legit for a month plus to be exact!  *hehehe*  I know it's too early to post about newborn must-haves but I can't wait to write about it especially knowing I have a couple of pregnant readers and I want to make sure first-time moms like me won't get the shock of their lives!  Well, I've been exaggerating about the "shock" but I'm glad there are some things in life that helps Baby AMW go through his journey in this super MEAN world!  *laughs*

Of course, you guys know the basic, the clothing, the bottles, etc.... here's just an added "small list" from the super long list of baby essentials as no one told me about this until Kyle came out!  So I'm telling you to arm yourselves with these products or similar ones!

Mustela Bebe Pack

Thanks to Sample Room for sending these to me on my birthday!  I originally kept these just because they were so cute (in size) but let me tell you why these are turning out to be my essentials and I'm definitely repurchasing for full sized bottles!

Gifts for the Happy Baby and Mommy

Happy Saturday!!!  I'm off for another busy Saturday as my social life circulates mostly on a Saturday as I heavily depend on Mr. AMW to drive me around!  *sobs*  I'm not complaining, I promise you!  Even if I'm just staying at home, I feel the love coming my way in my enclosed room!  Thank you so much to the gifts both Baby AMW and I received over the past few weeks!

Green Sproutlets

I want to thank mommy blogger Michelle from My Mom Friday for sending me gorgeous baby stuff from Green Sproutlets.  They are made from 100% cotton and I can literally feel the comfort of my little AMW using these once he is born!

 Mustela has been a number one brand that was recommended by most moms when we talk about pregnancy and baby stuff.  A lot of moms swore by it!  When my Sample Room family sent me these for Baby AMW, I nearly shrieked as these are the products I need that I didn't get the chance to purchase yet!  Thank you so much Mustela and Sample Room team!

Adore Fragrances and Aqua Fresco

 Of course, baby AMW isn't the only one who received gifts!  I also got some gifts from Adore Fragrances via NJ Torres (thanks girl!)!  I can't believe how gorgeously named and packaged these fragrances are!  Where were you guys when I was in high school saving up for an expensive cologne???

Of course, there's also something for Mr. AMW!  Aqua Fresco fragrances for men!  Create your own story line with the names of the scent!  Mr. AMW was creating one while taking this shot!  :P

Pond's Age Miracle Line

I have to admit, I did try out a lot of skin care brands and Pond's is one of them but out of all the Pond's line, I seriously haven't get to try the Age Miracle Line!  Don't get me wrong, I'm not on a denial stage!  I love using anti-aging products but I always end up giving this to my sister because she loves this line so much!  I may have to insert the Age Miracle Facial Wash in my current skincare system just for the sake of understanding why my sister swore by this!  Have you tried this line?  Tell me if this works for you! 

Taste Central

Last but not the least, a new online shopping website was launched, Taste Central, is the official retail partner of Deal Grocer !  I've always been an online shopper!  (Most of my maternity clothes were bought online and I purchased so many deal coupons I have a special folder for them!)  So having another site with good taste added isn't a problem for me, it excites me as I scour on various products which I don't see much on other online websites!

Because Taste Central wanted to make Mommy AMW happy, they sent me and Baby AMW special gifts and I have to apologize that I didn't get the chance to take professional shots on most of them as I ended up going "gaga" over the food!

I appreciate it that Taste Central didn't forget the fact that I'm into beauty so they made sure to include a beauty-related product!  A facial scrub that's paraben-free?  I'm sure it'll be something worth having a look!

 

There are so many reasons to have a bad day and there will always be more reasons if we let them be part of our lives!  My personal goal?  Is to appreciate blessings in life, no matter how big or small it is! No, I'm not saying that being happy means receiving gifts or products here and there, the point of being happy and staying that way is acknowledgment and appreciation!  Acknowledging the effort and time people give you and appreciate them for being part of your lives.

If I'm going through a bad day (promise, I have loads of that recently), I look into those emails, handwritten notes, text messages and comments from readers, friends and families and the troubles may still be there but at least, I have this feeling that I'm not alone!  Last but not the least, learn to pray and thank God for each day and moment that we get to breathe and enjoy life here on Earth! :)
