SPLAT - A Natural Route for Oral Care

I started being mindful with my oral care products ever since I started Blogging.  I am very particular with the skincare products I apply on my face and body, haircare and makeup products!  I’ve had my fair share of unfortunately experiences on products that do not work for me but I’ve always been using a brand or 2 oral care products thinking that is enough!

Fas forward to being a mom, I started seraching for Oral Care products safe enough to be accidentally swalled by kids!  Since I switched to natural toothpaste for my son, it is nice to switch for us adults as well!

As they say —-

Going natural is safer and healthier and it's also kinder to the environment.

SPLAT, a pioneer in natural oral care in European and Asian countries, is finally in the Philippines. The Russian brand provides natural and healthier oral care while saving the environment.

SPLAT is a family-owned and -operated company that has grown into a leading global manufacturer of oral care products sold to more than 60 countries, including the Philippines. The company has been recognized by Stanford University as a TOP-30 fastest growing global brand.

Every product from SPLAT has been created in collaboration with leading dentists and specialized institutions from different parts of the world for highest efficacy. Each one offers solutions to specific oral care concerns.

Splat's toothpastes, mouthwashes and foams contain natural ingredients, essential oils and medicinal plant extracts.

What Splat products don't contain are substances that can potentially harm humans, animals and the planet. These include SLES, triclosan, chlorhexidine, aluminum lactate, peroxide, petroleum-derived products, synthetic antiseptic agents, sodium lauryl sulfate and saccharinate. The amount of foam-forming agents in certain products is also very minimal.

SPLAT doesn't use these ingredients because they can affect the oral cavity mucosa and microflora and make the cell membrane thin.

SPLAT has a wide range of toothpastes that have fluoride and are flouride-freeSplat products are manufactured in small batches with ingredients from leading global manufacturers at the company’s eco-friendly factory. SPLAT's manufacturing facility has CO2-neutral status and is certified for compliance with international standards GMP Cosmetics and ISO 9001.

Every product developed in SPLAT's laboratories is targeted at the most effective solution of dental concerns.

What I am excited about is the availability of more options for Natural toothpastes for kids!

SPLAT Kids Natural Toothpaste comes in strawberry-cherry and fruit ice cream flavors to make brushing fun for kids. The toothpaste is hypoallergenic and safe if accidentally swallowed. The ingredients include Luctatol to protect against cavities and dental plaque; calcium hydroxyapatite (HAP) to strengthen teeth enamel by replenishing calcium and aloe vera gel, l-arginine and red grape seed extract to promote heathy gums.

Unsung Hero: Mouthwash

When I used to work in an office, I carry with me a toothbrush and toothpaste set and I always brush my teeth after lunch and wherever I'm off to an important meeting.

When I started to work from home several years ago, I forgot about the tooth-brushing habit because I'm too comfortable in my pajamas working in front of the computer at the comfort of my room!

Thankfully, before I go totally gross and be the type of girl who stays at home with no Hygiene, I actually go out a lot for Blogging Events, Meetings, Workshops and Make up Gigs!  Because I literally face a lot of people on a daily basis, I am forced to take care not only on my physical looks but oral hygiene!  As much as I want to bring toothbrush and toothpaste with me, you all know the situation here in the Philippines, there are washrooms that have non-working faucet which lead me to this question: "How can I brush my teeth?  Shall I just spit the toothpaste and leave with bubbly teeth?"  #yuck !

Ever since I got samples of OraCare from SampleRoom, I find myself taking this cute 80ml sized with me wherever I go!  I can't believe I haven't blogged about this because I literally have fresh breathe anytime, anywhere or whenever I need to face people!

That is why Oracare, you are part of my The Unsung Heroes post!

OraCare says ---
OraCare Mouthrinse Merrymint contains stabilized chlorine dioxide technology that works two ways:

  • Gets rid of bad bacteria causing plaque build-up, gum disease and tooth decay
  • Neutralizes volatile sulfur compounds or also called as the waste material of the bacteria – the true sources of strong mouth odors.
OraCare’s no alcohol formulation lets you gargle and experience real clean, fresh feeling without the painful burning sensation and sting, in a refreshing spearmint flavor!

AMW Bulletin: The Importance of a Healthy Smile!

Smiling is second nature to me.  A lot of my friends and family told me that I am one crazy "smiling-machine" as you see me smile in all situations!

I smile so much I don't know why I'm smiling in this photo taken by a photographer in an event.

When I worry about something, I usually put up a brave face with a smile as I find it helps radiate positivity thus lessening my stress hormones!  *lol*

A Friendly Reminder: Visit Your Dentist TODAY!

I recently got back from a dentist appointment and I almost didn't hear the end of it!  For the first time after many years, I was scolded!  For not taking care of my teeth by going to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned at least once every 3-6 months.  I deserve all the things she told me as it has been more than a year (okay, almost 2 years) that I didn't visit her!  I have so many excuse like I was busy breastfeeding, taking care of my baby, etc...

But one thing she said that hit me and I think deserves a blog post!  She said I MAY have Bad Breathe if I continue to ignore my teeth!  I tried to give an excuse by telling her I brush my teeth after EVERY meal, I use mouthwash and floss!  She said it's NOT enough!  And I got to read this article! *laughs*
