AMW Cooks: Baked Cheesy Mussels

So here I am sitting in front of a box of Talley's Greenshell Mussels wondering what I'm going to do with it.  I'm used to just boiling fresh mussels straight from the market with loads of ginger and they'll taste perfect the way it was.

But there are days I want to just put them inside the oven and bake them!  What to do when you have a family member not into cheese?  A more subtle cheesy baked mussels!

Ingredients:

  • Fresh mussles or purchase a box of Talley's Greenshell Mussels from supermarket (very yummy!)
  • Chopped garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Quick melt cheese

AMW Cooks: Chili Shrimps

I am allergic to seafood but there are rare cases I can actually eat shrimps!  Most of them comes from "Dampa" (which means, the shrimps are extremely fresh!  So if I get allergies, you'll know the food served isn't fresh #ultimateFreshSeafoodTester )

One type of shrimps that I can also eat are those Frozen ones from the grocery!  But I almost never gave into those idea because most of the time, they don't even taste like shrimps!

And there's actually ONE brand that I really like and actually purchase from the grocery --- Pacific Bay!  That is why I actually went out of my way to attend their 20th Year Anniversary recently because I honestly believe in their brand!

Here's my version of Chili Shrimps which took me only 5 minutes or even less in cooking!  Perfect for moms-on-the-go and moms who have multiple jobs like I do!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pack of Pacific Bay Frozen Fresh Shrimp Jumbo Peeled and Deveined.  Must be thawed.
  • Slice the back of the shrimps so once cooked, it looks pretty (optional)
  • Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Paste. (You can purchase this at select groceries)
  • Loads of chopped garlic.
  • Butter

Mida Food Turns 20 + Pacific Bay

It was one Rainy Thursday Night when I was off to Enderun Tent to attend the Feast of the Pacific hosted by Mida Food Distributors.  I usually do not stay out late but this is definitely an exception when we are talking about a celebration with the leader in the Philippine seafood industry.

Alongside with other Food-loving Bloggers who loves to cook like I do!  I went ahead and learned about the company and the retail brand Pacific Bay --- which I personally purchase on a monthly basis!

Pacific Bay offers full line of retail seafood specialty items from Tuna products, crabs (softshell crab, King Crab and Snow Crab) to lobster, shrimp, squid, octopus, bacalao, halibut, dory, cod, salmon, tuna, scallops, mollusks and a whole lot more!
