Weekend Food Tripping at: Burger King (fastfood)

I am into health food. I am very conscious with what I eat not because I am dieting, but because I personally love to eat healthy food. But of course, there will always be times you'll be in a rush and you just want to eat what's new!

Yup...Burger King as a fast food chain isn't new but I've seen their posters on their new burger, and my hubby loves steak and he has to try this ! What a good wife to do??? Accompany him and enjoy the food as much as he does!

The Burger King came out their new burger called the STEAKHOUSE BURGER! To all international readers out there --- the normal burger size would look like this (photo below) in most fast food chains in Asia.

It surprisingly is delicious. What you've seen beside the burger are bits of crunchy garlic (yum) Steakhouse burger, cheese accompanied with a very soft and delicious bread!

WARNING: Do not order or eat this on a first date :P

My ultimate favorite: The onion rings! (mine mine mine)
Fries for my hubby LOL

And can you believe they serve cakes? They do!
They've got selection of chocolate cakes, cheesecakes etc...
I chose the Hershey's Sundae Pie

It's not an ice cream cake but it's made of creamy fillings.
You have to eat this quick as the cream tumbles down easily...

Yup, I do...I try to avoid them as much as I can....

HSBC Credit Card Gives Kenneth Cole Reaction

HSBC Credit Card (Philippines) had a promo for first time approved customers. A Kenneth Cole Reaction Wallet and Key Fob Premium.

What I did is to apply online, fax the requirements and after approval, accumulate Php 3,000 (approx $68.00) worth of spending. In which I did with my P&J Loot.

I was so excited to get this, but as I finally received this, I can't help but feel disappointed as the quality is not that good as compared to it's "brand name".

If you check the above photo closely, the wallet is not "aligned" and the key chain wasn't made nicely as well. Well..what can I say? It's FREE, but still...if Kenneth Cole put it's name up there, free or not, they should have made the wallet a better quality!

I just can't believe I applied for a new credit card just for this. HAHAHA I am a sucker for freebies! (who isn't?) And you know the funny thing? Just after I got approved, HSBC has a new and better promo! Free cellphone for approved customers! Darn huh? Oh well, things company do...

Askmewhats Reviews: WetStraight Pro Flat Iron

My hair isn't sleek straight but it's straight enough. Why do I need to iron? Well, I bought this because I cut other people's hair and I've found some would prefer to have a sleek straight hair rather than the normal blow-dried hair. I have searched for a good flat iron that I could invest in and easy to bring along. I have found the one.

JBL is actually a home tv shopping company in the US. I haven't checked if they do home tv shopping down here in the Philippines. But I saw all those hair demonstration inside the malls. I just gave in and asked them to do my hair.

I was amazed, I love the outcome! I asked a couple of questions, then I bought it!

• I find it drying, so I suggest not to use this everyday
  (well all heating tools are bad if used too frequently)
  

Overall

This is surprisingly a good product. I've originally wanted a ceramic flat iron, but I have seen a lot of branded irons that have ceramic but just "the exterior", and I was told that if you dropped the iron, the ceramic will break. I suggest to use a heat protective shampoo and conditioner like Thermasilk and do not apply any leave on conditioner as these have "oil" as part of the ingredients which can "burn" your hair. Use smoothening serum AFTER ironing.

Tip

Test on the temperature setting and see which temperature works best for you. Start with the lowest. I was advised by the salesman to use the highest setting, I did and it hurts my scalp and head. I tried from the bottom and at the end found out 180 degrees works fine for my hair!

Will I repurchase?

If this broke less than 3 yrs, I won't repurchase!
