Happy "AMW Wears" Day!

I officially announce today a holiday, so, you may either call in sick or file a vacation leave! :P

I am one "errand girl"  as my friends would call me!  I would rather do as much as I can in a day then rest the next day rather than separating the tasks to one each day! (Who does that?) No wonder people call me THE "sucker for pain"!  

One very important tool on being an "errand girl" is a comfortable pair of shoes!  (Just like Batman needed Robin) BWAHAHAHAHAH!!! Totally NOT connected!

I do not need to stress again and again how difficult it is to find good-looking shoes that are comfortable!  Thank you Shoe Gods for hearing my woes!  My shoe collection is growing which only mean one thing...there are more comfortable and cute looking shoes out there! *raise arms* YAY!

But it does feel that way just by the mere look of its packaging!  Once I opened the gorgeous black box,a luxurious travel purse (same as the shoe color) greeted me!

Though I love the travel purse, it feels a bit too bulky on my small to medium sized bags!

 I like the fact that this comes with a foldable satin shoulder bag that's located at the back pocket tied on a nice (detachable) silver chain.

You can use the shoulder bag to store your slippers, sandals or shoes during travel!  I actually like using this to store my shoes in dire times of feet emergencies and *sheepish* use the travel pouch to store my cellphone chargers and other "techie" stuff and what-nots!

I've worn this pair so many times and used this on driving and "errand-full" days!  At first, it was a bit too tight for me as I got this in my real size 7.  My friends advised me to get at least a size bigger for foldable flats since they are garterized and can get a bit too tight.

Just when I was going "emo" on not picking a size bigger, I cut my toenails and the world was in PEACE!  *laughs*  Yeah yeah, hit me baby one more time! :P

I've always been very smart when picking my pair of shoes, I like the nude pink shade that goes so well on even my most colorful or printed outfits --- OR BOTH!  *laughs*

Nail Art Tutorial: 2 Become 1

Let's face this, not everyone liked the idea of celebrating Valentine's Day!  I for one, loved the idea of celebrating Valentine's Day but dislikes the thought of heavy traffic and full booking on most restaurants!  (Great for restaurant owners though! :P)

This being said, I've created my version of Valentine's Day Nails for 2012 with 2 kinds of people in mind, those who are excited for the hearts day and those who aren't too excited!  Combined together, who would've thought we can still create gorgeous looking color combination?

The moral of this is, life gets to be this fun with different types of people (just like different shades of colors) present!  Ah hah!  And you thought I can't explain the "moral lesson" of today's post huh?  *proud*

Apply your choice of base coat to protect your nails from yellowing. (I can't stress this enough!)

I used my Etude House Wannabe Style Nails #1 So Hot Chic and work on both colors alternately.

• Coverage done is medium as you can still see the tiny mole on my cheek.  I did not apply more as Mocha Creme is the lightest on warm undertone, I think I would personally prefer Java Shake which is their medium shade! 

V&M Mineral Blush: Shimmer and Matte
Pros

• Gives a very natural flush.
• Build-able.

Cons

• Messy application.
• Re-application may be needed during the day especially if you have oily skin.

Swatch (Peach Spark)

• Peach Spark is on the shimmery side and it does give a beautiful flush even when applied a bit more than the usual!  

V&M Eyeshadow: Allure
Pros

• Very pigmented.
• A little goes a long way!
• Very smooth and easy to blend.

Cons

• Difficult to control the amount of product needed especially for first time mineral eyeshadow users.
• Fall outs during application.
• Creases in the middle of the day so an eyeshadow primer is definitely needed.

Swatches (Starbright and Satin)

Starbright is applied on the inner thirds of my eyes concentrating more on the crease and applied Satin on the outer v blending inwards with a "round" shape to make my eyes appear larger.

Starbright was also applied on the inner corner of the eyes for brighter eyes.

Pros 

• Super unique, one of the most unique mineral product I've ever tested.
• Subtle sexiness is definitely the perfect name! 
• Imagine a spotlight focused on your face ALL THE TIME!

Cons

• If over applied or not blended well, a chunk of "SHINE" will be seen under lighting.

Swatch

I like applying this with a brush then blend with fingers!

The warmth of the fingers will help blend the product well and remove excess
