Velvet Rose --- I consider this a "household name" when it comes to all types of underwear, brassiere, hosiery, lingerie, swimwear, sleepwear to bedroom novelty items.  I've attended a lot of Bridal Shower parties and I always go to this store for sexy yet super tasteful sleepwear for the "honey-mooners".  True enough, my friends got taste too!  I also got a couple of Velvet Rose products as gifts during my own bridal shower party!

How much hotter can this weather be?  I find myself too lazy to move, even too lazy to apply makeup or do my usual skincare routine! *gasp*

Consider this, I have dry skin, so I can't imagine how our oily-skinned readers out there feel on moisturizer application on these hot and humid days?  Come on, do tell me!

Yes, it's summer, it's hot and humid but I still find some dry patches around my left cheeks so I need moisture even midday!  Thankfully, the Clinique Moisture Surge line came out with a face spray that gives moisture without distracting your makeup!

Weekend Food Trip at: Alba Restaurante Espanol

Alba Restaurant, for me, has been around forever!  I used to live in Sta. Mesa when I was single and our food trip usually goes around Tomas Morato area!  One of the many few restaurants that I always get to see, want to try, yet never get the urge to really go inside is Alba! 

Why?  Well, what to expect from a Spanish Restaurant?  I'm quite adventurous when it comes to food but my parents aren't!  So I always gave this restaurant a miss as I always thought its all "Paella" that they can offer.

Fast forward to several...gazillion years after!  *laughs*  I finally get to book for a dinner buffet to celebrate my mom-in-law's birthday!  My sister-in-law highly recommend this restaurant so who am I to believe but my family member right? 

Well, it was a good decision to finally give this restaurant a try!  Unfortunately, it's not the Tomas Morato branch but their newest branch at Alba Prism Plaza, Mall of Asia Complex.

Something New: Because I Love Roses

"I'm a floral girl, in this floral world....life is flowery...it's fantastic" --- try singing that on a tune of "Barbie Girl"  It works right? 

Don't get mad!  That song has been playing over and over inside my head as I am typing this blog post!  Can't resist it!  I'm a composer at heart!  *blech* 

Really, the song started to play inside my head when I get to sniff the newest fragrance from pureDKNY!  I've been a fan of all DKNY apple shaped fragrance bottles for the longest time and when they released their pureDKNY Vanilla, I was a bit hesitant to use it as I'm more of a floral girl rather than vanilla!  Thankfully, the scent was mild and easy to the nose!  I even bought another bottle as a gift for my god daughter last Christmas!  (She's a teenager and I'm sure she'll love it!)

But of course, the love for florals will still be inside my heart so I'm glad they came up with something meant for me (no, I'm not referring to scents for the oldies okay?)
