AMW Reviews: SOFFIA Opulence All Over Face Brush and Blending Brush

Did you know that each time I deep clean my brushes (a.k.a. wash my brushes with brush soap and water) on a weekend, I have this voice inside my head saying: "These brushes are enough!"

And each time I see a new brush set or brand right in front of me (especially those that are made with high quality), my arms go wide and say: "Come to mama!"

When I attended SampleRoom's Thanksgiving party months ago, one of the many exciting things I found in the SampleRoom Eco bag is a black box with a name SOFFIA printed in Gold.  I immediately thought of Sophia Loren right away --- Box pa lang classy na!

Upon opening the box, I felt like there was a spotlight going straight to the 2 brushes with black handle, gold ferrule --- my kind of color combination.

I Wonder:What's Your Favorite Brand of Feminine Wash?

Oohh, such a topic on a Monday huh?
But let's face it, it may not be the topic we want to write about but definitely a topic we would like to talk about!  I have always been a feminine wash user, I'm talking about years....long before organic feminine washes are in the market, I am one of the many "commercially made" feminine wash users and I've used probably almost all the brands available locally.

Let's face it, using regular soap to wash our genital area won't make the cut, why?  Aside from stripping off the external protective barrier in that area, using scented  soap and body wash may cause certain genital infections *ouch*  (feel na feel ba? lol) especially with our weather condition where bacteria can easily rear its super ugly head! 

After I gave birth, the pH balance down there definitely changed (of course I won't discuss more!  lol), most of my favorite feminine washes that I used to love just doesn't feel as effective as it was pre-pregnancy!  Luckily, I recently discovered the brand Sebamed, well not really a discovery as I knew about this brand way back but didn't know it was locally available.  I was told it has been around for a decade, don't ask me why I haven't seen them before!  *laughs*

I have used Sebamed Feminine Intimate wash for a month now and this one is for users who have sensitive skin.

Weekend Food Trip at: Tian Pao Wan

I received a couple of feedback from AMW readers/fellow-food lovers who are sharing their excitement on my weekend food posts!  To be honest, I'm ALWAYS excited to EAT and share my experience dining in a restaurant especially if it is a first time experience for me.

Just like at Tian Pao Wan.

I've heard about the restaurant  from my mom and dad-in-laws a couple of times as they went to this restaurant a couple of times spending great nights with friends and good food.  After inviting us to dine with them so many times, our schedules finally matched and we finally made it last Sunday night! 

Tian Pao Wan could be difficult for most of you to remember (especially non-Chinese readers) so for easy reference and for my ease of typing...let's call the restaurant TPW temporarily!  *lol*  You can't blame me for being lazy, you know where AMW came from! :P

Anyways, back to TPW, Mr. AMW and I are thankful that we spent our dining experience with our family friend who happily did the ordering, me and my husband are both lazy when it comes to menu ordering, the more choices we have in front of us, the longer we'll get to eat as we can't seem to make up our minds! 

Pumpkin Seafood Soup

I actually requested for this as I've always been a fan of Pumpkin soup!  The seafood part was an added bonus and I just have my anti-histamine on hand as I believe my family prefers to have some seafood "bits" on their soup!  So far, I'm glad the soup served has a good texture, not too thick nor too runny. The taste?  It definitely has an added note of sweetness (but not too much).

Happy Friday everyone!  *dances the Friday Dance*  

You probably don't know the Friday dance so if you get to see me in person, ask me to do it!  It'll be my pleasure to show the steps to you!  FUN and EASY :P

When I started this blog, I get a lot of emails from readers across the universe (bongga lang!).  Seriously, I get emails from various parts of the world sharing to me their beauty and non-beauty related problems!  From getting a divorce to being left out on a cold by a long-time boyfriend, I've heard them all!  Can't blame you guys, my blog is named "AskMeWhats" kasi!  :P 

My short "kwento" was brought to you by Happy Skin's Don't Get Mad Get Even!  I know it is difficult to control your emotions at times and it is easier to hide in the dark and blame yourself for all the bad happenings that existed in your life!  I'm a strong believer of not showing the other person how affected your are, but instead, get even!  (Definitely not hiring a professional killer type) but getting even in a way that you show to the person who hurt you the most, or the world, how easy it was for you to survive a bad situation.  You may not feel 100%but at least, try to look 99.9% better!  That is for me, the best revenge to people who tries to pull you down! 

Seriously, ang haba ng intro ko just for a Hydrating Liquid Foundation!  *laughs*
