Happy Sunday AMW Friends!
I will be sharing a healthy recipe today! And the vegetable for the day? Bittergourd (aka Ampalaya).
If you are flinching right this moment, let's do a quick *high five*. I'm not a fan of ampalaya dish as well and I recalled picking only the middle part (the pork) when my mom cooks this for us! Now that I'm older, I appreciate the bitter taste of ampalaya and I'm actually looking forward to it on each bite! This is one dish that I'm proud to share (all thanks to my mom for being such a wonderful cook) and I hope non-bittergourd eaters will appreciate this as well!
Try at least 1 before you say NO :)

Let's Talk About Make Up For Ever
I literally wailed when Make Up For Ever, Shangri-la Branch closed down. I usually shop their for my favorite Concealer Palettes, Pencil Liners, Loose Pigments, Powder Foundation and Contouring powders.
After accepting the fact that they may be gone in the Philippine scene forever, I'm glad I was wrong! They are definitely back this time, and with a vengeance! This year is Make Up For Ever's 30th Year!
I was invited to a very intimate launch at PINO restaurant. I knew about Pino restaurant from another blogger friend Patty Laurel.
I knew it was going to be an "artsy" evening with Life After Breakfast's author, Ms. Alessa Lanot. I may be artsy in both faces and nails but not on paper, so Tara, Mikki and I shared this "Ugh, not art please" moment! Little did we know that night was a major stress reliever for all of us!

I got super excited during the press preview because I see items that I don't see much from H&M in our neighboring countries! The collection are chic, very fashionable and trendy and a couple of pieces are timeless!
The big question is, WHEN?
The Swedish retail brand will open its doors in Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall this coming October 17, 2014! It will be approximately 3,000 square meters of fashion!
“We have been waiting for the best opportunity to be in the Philippines and now the wait is finally over. The Philippines is indeed ready for the next level of fashion and we are so proud to debut our amazing flagship store at SM Megamall! It is such an exciting moment for us to bring fashionable and sustainable design, with good quality at the best price to fashion-conscious Filipinos. At H&M we always have something for everyone, and we can’t wait to welcome all shoppers in Manila to this fantastic store!” says Magnus Olsson, Country Manager of Greater China and South East Asia.
The October opening will coincide with the launch of the brand's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, a Limited Edition H&M Studio Line.
Brace yourself for good news!
Customers shopping on the opening day will get to experience all of this first hand plus exclusive opening deals! The first 200 in line will get gift cards valued as high as P6,000 each, and opening offers that are up to 50% off. Regular store hours of 10am to 10pm will be resumed on October 20 onwards.

AMW Reports: Inglot's Berry Obsession
Hi AMW Friends!
Advance apology for the cheese-y cover! I can't help it! I may be a PRO MUA who has been applying various shades of lipsticks on clients! But you probably know by now how simple I am with my own makeup! Who would've thought attending Inglot's Berry Obsession event could change my lipstick life forever?

But you probably know by now how simple I am with my own makeup! Who would've thought attending Inglot's Berry Obsession event could change my lipstick life forever?
Yes it did! Because I am starting to wear deep, plum shade of lipstick! That probably shocked my toddler and my parents but I feel so confident wearing one!
Backtrack during the event, the launch was held at Niner Ichi Nana. Upon entry, I see chocolate covered berries (sorry yun talaga unang nakita) then Lipsticks, Nail Lacquers and Lip pencils. (All in that order) I have to hand it to the Inglot Philippines team, the event styling was done so well I can't help but flood my Instagram with Inglot Berry Obsession related photos during that day! (sorry!)
