Finally!  A review on The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream!  So sorry it took so long!  A lot of my readers requested for a review on this when they saw me posted this product on my Instagram Account. 

What took me so long?  The fact that the product states: "Suitable for Blemished Skin".  Of course, I didn't wish for blemished skin but I was actually waiting for "sudden pimple-appearance" for me to be able to gauge if the product is indeed suitable for blemished skin.

Weekend Food Trip at: WangFu Chinese Cafe

When I first heard that Teriyaki Boy at Tomas Morato is gone, my reaction was: "OH NO!!!"  

I may not be a super fan of Teriyaki Boy but I got used to seeing that huge sign whenever I pass by the area.  My brother told me about Ser Chief's restaurant called Wangfu and he actually brought my mom and dad to dine there and gave a thumbs up sign...I wasn't impressed.

Seriously, just the usual "use your fame while you have it, open a restaurant!" thing, that's what I thought.

Not until when my good friend from highschool came back for a vacation from the US,  she suggested to try Wangfu as she heard the restaurant serves good food.  Wow, so Wangfu restaurant made its' name even all the way to the US!  It must be good.  

I originally thought I'll see the regular Chinese dish when it took a peak at their menu, I realized, it isn't!  Wangfu offers Chinese-Singaporean cuisine.  You'll see a designated "Singapore Specials" in their menu which is something refreshing to see on a full-breed Chinese named restaurant. 

Before I talk about the food, let me share to you the ambiance,  of course, with the number of times I visited Teriyaki Boy, I can't seem to put away that "Teriyaki Boy" restaurant thought but what I noticed is that Wangfu leveled up the ambiance by adding more lights, changed to better-looking couches and chairs.  The restaurant looks more cozy yet chic.

They included round tables for big gatherings like what we did!  We actually reserved 2 round tables for a grand Pre-Holiday Meetup with my gradeschool/highschool friends.

Jergens

Jergens lotion and I goes way back!  I was a high school student when I received my first bottle (with pump) as given to me by my best friend's dad (yes, close kami!)  And I shared this huge bottle with my mom and sister and the rest was history.

Fast forward to today, Jergens Original Beauty Lotion has been a very important part of our household.  How?  Well, I did share this story before but just in case you forgot, well, my mom is wearing medical stockings for her varicose and poor her for getting all those "itches"!  According to the doctor, it is advisable to apply lotion daily to keep the skin hydrated and thank goodness for Sampleroom as I got a good supply of her favorite Lotion so I'm sharing all these to her!  And my mom was surprised to see there are so many new variants and you know what's her favorite?  The Daily Moisture and Ultra Healing variant!

Personally, I love the Age Defying variant and Soothing Aloe variant!  And my sister? Naku, let's not talk about her, she's addicted to lotions and she loves them all!

I Wonder: Do You Ever Sleep with Your Make Up On?

Well, don't worry, I'm not going to say I'm a little perfect Blogger who consistently care for my skin.  I have a dirty little secret too you know!

Since becoming a mom, yes, I never sleep with makeup on but you know what?  Recently, I'm always in a hurry in removing my makeup.  Imagine this scenario, I came home late, I missed my son so much and he obviously missed me so much as well, I ran straight to my room, change into comfortable clothes, wash my face quickly with water...yes, you read that right, just water because I'm in a hurry to spend quality time with my little one before he dozes off on me!

My husband would say: "May eyeliner ka pa, andun pa lipstick mo!"  And I just shrug him off!  And when the little angel is finally asleep, I am too tired to really think about myself and I doze off with him....story of my "Beauty addict life turned momma!" 

On nights I really felt tired, on nights I really just want a good night sleep...I reach on my favorite wipes (I've been vocal about this favorite wipes on my previous post HERE)

You know what it's my favorite?  Seldom can I find wipes that works for my combination (Dry/Normal) and sensitive skin!  Then recently, I got a care package from our friends from Nivea to try their wipes!  I have read positive reviews on these wipes so I am very excited to try these!  

Burt's Bees "Bee Merry" Gift Ideas

Last year, I spent most of my "Christmas budget" on Burt's Bees "Bee Merry" sets #TrueStory

Why?  Because they are packaged in a way that I don't have to worry about wrapping them (I am seriously too busy with an active toddler to have time to wrap gifts!), plus the fact that they are in "sets", you don't have to think hard if the receiver will like your gift or not because who does not like Gift Sets? 

When I got the chance to meet Burt's Bees Brand Manager, who is also a good friend of mine, for a cup of coffee and some catching up, she excitedly shared to me about this year's Bee Merry sets and I got the Heart-Thumping moment when I took a peek at what's in store for us here in the Philippines.
