These are a Few of My Favorite...

People -- my brother is back for a vacation!  All 4 of us (brothers and sisters) are close and I would say, I don't play favorites, but since I don't get to spend much time with him as he works abroad, I like to bond with him as much as I can (amidst very busy shedule).  Since I was off to Ortigas for a short meeting, I've decided to take him to one of my favorite restaurant inside Shangri-la Mall --- Spatzle Euro Market Cafe. (Favorite that's why I was there twice this month now!)

This year, I probably dined in this restaurant the most if we talk about restaurants inside the said mall.  We even had our event here during the Cathy Doll Philippines Nude Me Launch!

So back to Spatzle, my brother loves anything Carbonara so I've decided to go for..

What I'm Thankful For - Year 2014

Blogging has helped me grow into a social butterfly that I am!
Don't get me wrong, I was a butterfly :P  but not a "social" one!  I may be very talkative (okay, SUPER talkative) now but believe it or not, I used to be REALLY shy!  (walang aangal please)  I am so scared to ask for price when I go to stores I always ask Mr. AMW to help me do so.  I tend to smile a lot in social gatherings but deep in my heart, it goes "thump thump thump" because I am seriously in an awkward situation.

Through Blogging, I still have those moments but I improved so much my events-mate may want to stuff my mouth with a sock!  :P  Super daldal ko na kasi talaga as in BONGGA!  :P

Yes, I am in a "muni muni" stage again because another year has ended, looking back, 2014 was such a bitter sweet year for me!  It was a challenging year yet I received so much blessings at the same time.  I made a really big decision to give up "half" of my day job and went part time because I wanted to really look after my growing kid.  So obviously, HALF of my salary is deducted and since we moved out, more expenses for us right?

So good bye trips, good bye gadgets, goodbye to all my "luho" :)

But God really is good.  He provides what we need and even MORE!

I was able to travel to San Francisco early this year to represent the Philippines as a Makeup Artist for Benefit's Grand Launch for They're Real Liner (story HERE and HERE).

Best of all, Benefit understands the fact that I'm a mom so they permitted me to take with me my then super baby pa na Baby AMW and of course, my partner-in-travel Mr. AMW.

Burt's Bees "Bee Merry" Gift Ideas

Last year, I spent most of my "Christmas budget" on Burt's Bees "Bee Merry" sets #TrueStory
Why?  Because they are packaged in a way that I don't have to worry about wrapping them (I am seriously too busy with an active toddler to have time to wrap gifts!), plus the fact that they are in "sets", you don't have to think hard if the receiver will like your gift or not because who does not like Gift Sets?

When I got the chance to meet Burt's Bees Brand Manager, who is also a good friend of mine, for a cup of coffee and some catching up, she excitedly shared to me about this year's Bee Merry sets and I got the Heart-Thumping moment when I took a peek at what's in store for us here in the Philippines.

And guess what, this is not even everything that they offer!

I immediately went: "I've been longing to own the tin can box as lunch box for the longest time!"  --- and yes, wishes do come true, even if it's over 2 decades!  *lol*

Then my next question goes: "What's the price points?"  You have to admit, they look expensive, if not, crazy overpriced!  But, that's the best part of this blog post, it is my happiness to share that the price points of these Bee Merry Gift sets are extremely affordable!  (Consider the quality of the products!)  You don't believe me?
