AMW Reports: DunloPillo Moments with Fellow Mommies

A lot of you are probably not used to seeing me posts about "mommy-related" topics!  A lot of you probably can't even blurt out "AskMeMom".  As for me, as early as 16 years old, I knew I'd be a great mom!  I always have this "motherly instinct" and actions that would lead my friends to say: "Mommy Nikki" or just plain "Mommy"!

I didn't mind that, I actually enjoy taking care of my friends and relatives!

BUT, the moment I really turned into a mom, my life was turned upside down!  One of the biggest change I've encountered for the first year of motherhood is how taking a full 30 minutes sleep/nap is a luxury!  And how much I appreciate comfortable mattress and pillows!

To my single readers out there, I'm sure it never crossed your mind to save money to invest on a good mattress or pillow right?  AH HA!  I knew it!  Because I'm used to be like that ! I would laugh at the thought of buying pillows even if they are on sale!  I just think the old ones I have are enough.

Yes, I'm eating all my words right now!

I know I don't have the right to complain, I'm a mother of just ONE little boy as opposed to my mom who personally took care of all 4 of us siblings! 

I co-sleep with my son because, well, we just want to savor the moment our son still wants to be with us, as we are sure by the time he grows older, he'll want to have his own bed or even room!  Fellow moms out there who co-sleep with their kids, I'm sure you understand how it is to wake up with sore back, stiff neck and still laugh about it because it will be an everything thing!

Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer Review

I hailed Urban Decay Primer Potion as the best eye primer of all time and the inexpensive version will be the Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer.  Then the rest?  They all come in between.

Who would've thought years after, I could possibly find something that could actually bump Urban Decay down to the 2nd spot?  

Maybe..just maybe... Benefit Air Patrol.

The name is catchy, like most Benefit products and I like how it's uniquely called Air Patrol and yet, it is a BB Cream Eyelid Primer, can you see the connection?  I can't though...brain fart...please tell me! :P

AMW Reports: Inglot Beyond Freedom

When I think about the brand Inglot, there are a few things that come to mind ---

My love for their Berry Obsession Lipstick, I felt so cool and "in" every time I wear this!

How I can easily reach out my Inglot Freedom Palette whenever I plan to do my makeup inside the car (parked by the way!) and if you follow me on Snapchat (@AskMeWhats), you'll know I really do that!

and lastly, how Inglot Nail Enamel is breathe-able for the nails I can even leave them for weeks and my nails are still healthy as without polish!

Found My Favorite Pink Blush!

If you are a regular reader of my blog, I've always mentioned how I'm leaning towards to Peach, Coral and Bronzer-type of blush to "warm my skin" just because pink blushes make me look like a "trying hard teenager"?

Yeah, you probably forgot about the "pink blush" topic but remembered the trying hard teenager!  *laughs*  I once created a makeup look on that!  BUT...before my trail of thoughts get lost...let's get back to the first pink blush I really wear on a daily basis even on a no-makeup makeup look!

All thanks to my aunt who sends me samples of these because these samples help me a lot for my future "full-size" purchases!  And this blush sample from Lancome earns 2 thumbs up from me because you get good enough amount to test for at least a month!  Total of 0.07 oz (1.98g) of blush goodness!

AMW Reports: Calyxta Beauty 101

I got an intimate invite recently from Calyxta for Calyxta Beauty 101/ Calyxta Loves OFRA event.  It was a first for me to meet the people behind Calyxta and I made sure to prepare for it!

The event was held at The Chambre de Saint Germain, Bizu, One Rockwell and we were asked to come in our casual soft silhouette ensemble and this was my version.
