That One Shadow Look

"I don't have time in the morning!"

That's the second reason why a lot of my AMW readers do not wear eyeshadow!  First one would be: "I don't know how!"

Don't worry, I KNOW how to apply eyeshadow but you always see me in this type of eye makeup application, I call this the "One Shadow Look".  And the thing is, I don't even have that extra 1 minute to blend my powder eyeshadow with a brush on some days (because sleep is life!)  so, I leaned towards to cream shadow sticks and it has to be waterproof!

Tested really well by yours truly, my favorite brand Make Up For Ever's Aqua Matic is my go-to eyeshadow for those days I just need a wash of color on the eye area!  This is also a perfect technique for monolid friends!

Soothies Foot Care Products Reviewed

 How many of you takes care of your feet aside from your face?

Not a lot huh?

I'm one of them!  Guilty as charged!  The most I've done was during the time my heels were cracking from going barefoot at the play area several times a day, so I ended up putting petroleum jelly on my heel area wearing socks at night before I go to bed.

That did not make the cut.  My feet sometimes look like it does not belong to a Beauty Blogger (there I said it!)  Embarrassing yet true, so thankfully, because of the launch of new Foot Care line called Soothies - I was forced to take care of my feet and after giving this a try for more than a week, I think I've found a good reason to start taking care of them - consistently!

It's All About Giving Today (and the days to come!)

In the AMW-household, you'll find a LOT of Unilever products, so when I was invited by Unilever to join their Unilever x Shopee All About Giving campaign (a special e-commerce partnership between the 2 for Holiday), I had to be there!  And what made the event even more special?  The fact that I can listen to the Shopee's First Christmas Ambassador - Jose Mari Chan sings live!  (Kinikilig ako just talking about it!)

In today's event, I was able to watch Ben & Ben singing Live onstage!  I've known this group when I watched them on TV and guess what?  Their voices and talent are even more amazing in PERSON!  I mean I was already impressed when I watched them on TV but the goosebumps were real!

Heard their new single "Branches" which will be available on Spotify!

Benefit X Solique Launch

Two brands really close to my heart did a wonderful collaboration my "pink heart" gets so excited about!  The launch happened a couple of weeks ago and I'm still on a Benefit x Solique High!  (So are my nails as I am still wearing the polishes applied during the event!)

Now, I'm not pulling anyone's arm for saying this, each year, I really gift Benefit and Girlstuff products for friends and family!  My teenager-inaanaks love the shades of Girlstuff and Solique Gel Polishes while their moms appreciate that these are safe for their kids to wear!

Now Benefit on the other hand needs NO explanation, their packaging itself is already a gift and I tend to just give it to the recipient without gift-wrapping and I always get a loud "squeal"!  

This year, the Mrs. Santa is ready for another round of "Give Love and Happiness this Christmas" and the Benefit x Solique holiday sets made it easier for me --- just look how pretty they look on the Christmas Tree!

Let's talk one brand at a time as I seriously don't know where to start.

Solique is actually a sister brand of my favorite Girlstuff Nail Polish and Solique is a Gel Polish that need NO special UV lamps.  All you need to do is to apply your choice of Solique Gel Polish shade and top it with the Gel TopCoat and you're ready to go!  No soaking needed (heaven sent for me as I've had bad experiences in removing gel polish!)  Same as Girlstuff, they do not contain harmful and toxic chemicals like DBP (dibutyl phthalate), toluene and formaldehyde so again, kids and even pregnant mommies can wear them!

Benefit, on the other hand, came up with their yearly Holiday Sets and this year made my heart skipped a thousand times!
