How to get these curls?

Oh my!  I wish I can do this every single day!  Can you see my huge smile?  I was in the mood the whole time I was sporting this look because it brought me back to days I was busy going out - working, attending launches, events or hosting!

This is the type of hair I would usually sport because it looks good and yet - I am comfortable enough to still look like myself.

This is the CKeyIn Cordless Automatic Hair Curler Iron which I found on Shopee.  I wanted to try this but I have done my own research first.  I watched various reviews and saw good results - I knew what the Cons will be but the hair tools enthusiast in me just wanted to give this a try!  JUST BECAUSE, I am like that!  *laughs* 

After getting this at Shopee, I received the package approximately a week or so.  I bought a couple from the same store and they were all packed really well and I am happy with the service.

6: Double-layer heat insulation shell, full body ceramic material, reduce high temperature injury, heat insulation and anti-scald. The ceramic reel is heated evenly

The whole set consists of : 1x Curling iron,  1 x USB CABLE, a Manual, 1 x Storage bag, 1 x Rat Tail Comb and 2 Hair clips.  I am glad the company thought of including these because in every hair styling, you need these vital tools - good rat tail comb for sectioning and clips also for sectioning.  Without these, you can still manager to do your hair but not as effective.

Mid-week healthy recipe for you AMW Friends!

I haven’t done any Vietnamese dishes at home.  Thai - yes, but not a lot!  Vietnamese?  Almost close to none until recently when I made Fried Vietnamese Spring Rolls.  

I remembered ordering these fresh ones as appetizers feeling “not full” almost every single time. So why not create this dish at home so we have unlimited Vietnamese Spring Rolls?

Ingredients: 

Spring Rolls

    - Shrimps (1/2 Kilo)

    - Lettuce (1 roll)

    - Rice Vermicelli (around 3-4 bundles)

    - Carrots (or cucumbers)

    - Optional: Peanuts + Sugar

    - Mint Leaves (I don’t have this so I skipped this)

    - Rice Paper Sheets

    

Peanut Sauce

    - 1/3 cup peanut butter

    - 1/3 cup water

    - 1 tbsp rice vinegar / I used Sherry Vinegar

    - 1 tbsp soy sauce

    - 2 tsp. Sugar

    - 1 tsp. Sesame Oil

Nuoc Cham sauce

    - 1/3 cup warm water

    - 2 tbsp Sugar

    - 2 tbsp Fish sauce

    - 1 tbsp Lime Juice/Calamansi Juice or Lemon Juice

    -  Chili

    -  Garlic

The more I grew older, the more I go back to childhood!  HAHAHA

Sue me, it is my way of relieving good ‘ol childhood memories!  Because of the pandemic, I have been spending most of my time relieving the days I studied on makeup and hairstyling.  My way of practicing making sure my skills do not go “blah”.

These ribbons are the quickest way to elevatore your simple ponytail style!  I want to go overboard and buy all sorts of colors and designs but I stopped myself since I do not have a daughter!  Having a daughter will give me more excuse to shop more so THANK YOU Kyle !!! Mom is spending less!

Why Heart Evangelista and I Share the Same "Home" Sentiments

 

A few years back, my brother and I would meet up every single weekend for a month for "home" hunting.  It was a "rush" project for us because it was a surprise home for our parents and my brother only had a month vacation to choose the right home.

 He is an architect - a VERY good one if I may have to say, he has been working overseas building homes, apartments, commercial units and condominiums!  That said, he has high requirements and special taste in finding the ONE.

 When I e-met Ms. Heart Evangelista a few days back for the launch of RLC Residences, I understood her really well when she talked about her ideal home because that was exactly how me and my brother felt in finding a good home.

Heart is a true icon in terms of fashion and good will.  She is consistently an advocate for local Filipino Artisans' Work and her passion for raising the bar speaks to RLC Residences' own commitment to developing well-crafted living spaces for Filipinos to live their best lives - that said, there is no other perfect ambassador for RLC Residences but Ms. Heart Evangelista.

A space that is not too big yet spacious enough to move around and connect with your family! 

I have seen so many condo units and my complaint would always be: "Waste of Space!".  And with the model unit I've seen at RLC Residences, each room was well-planned with natural elements like wood, stone and lighting all blended well together. 

 

Aside from checking on the Condo Unit, it is important to look into the location - it must be central and near from school, work, or places you frequent.  There must be also easy access to amenities and safety and security is also number one key feature which RLC Residences have!

Thankfully, RLC Residences understands all the requirements for a very busy and multi-faceted life like Heart and the rest of the Filipinos.  I can't wait to check out more of their units in the future and same as Heart, this pandemic has made me rethink of a home as a place NOT ONLY TO SLEEP IN but a place to really connect with the family and create more memories!
