Remember the first ever event I attended with Kyle Nash?  It was the New Pampers Baby Dry Launch  and Kyle, Mr. AMW and I had so much fun!  So when I received another invite from Pampers, I had to clear up my schedule and make sure to give it a go --- even on a Sunday.

The event was held at Robinsons Manila last November 22nd.  We made it as a family thing so I went with Mr. AMW and Kyle Nash!  Look at that excited face of my little angel!

I have tried so many diapers in the past, you'll know if you follow me on Instagram!  And thankfully, I finally found the best one for my son!  That's why I call myself a Pampers Mommy!

If you are a long-time reader of my Blog, you probably knew a bit of my journey on motherhood.  Kyle is indeed heaven-sent to me and Mr. AMW and obviously, we only want the best for him.

From breastfeeding to looking for the best formula milk that suits him.  From the time he started out on solids and we made sure to give the freshest ingredients. And obviously, I went through the "diaper journey" too!  I tried out almost ALL the brands of diapers out there and finally found the perfect partner for Kyle.  You guys know how I am very particular with my product reviews.  Same as Pampers, it went through various tests from me before I hailed myself a Pampers mom!

August 20, 2012 --- 2 days after I learning I'm finally pregnant, I remembered doing this shoot for Purple Groom and I had this wide grin on my face and I just wanted to shout to the world how excited I am with this news --- but I just can't.... so the mixture of excitement, extreme happiness were bottled inside me I just want to explode.

That was probably how the First 1 Million Pesos winner of Pampers felt when she saw her winning ticket inside her Pampers Baby-dry!

A lot of parents would say, put it on savings for his education!  I originally thought about that too!  Because I understand how important it is to save at an early age!  I started out quite late so I know how it is not to have money!  #hahaha

With Kyle, he has his own bank account in less than a year old!  These are from the "red envelopes" he got from his family and godparents during his birthday and baptism.

This post was inspired by fellow Blogger Mommy Frances, as I was putting Kyle to sleep and read how she would spend her first Million for Baby Piero, I suddenly had all these ideas in mind as I was putting Kyle to sleep!

Unboxing: June BDJ Bioderma Box + #EverydayWithHappiness

Happy weekend AMW Friends!  I hope today is not as wet as previous days!  I had a wonderful and fruitful week so I can't help but share my good vibes to everyone!  It helps to really focus on the positive elements of your life because you can definitely attract more good things!

How?  By appreciating all the little things in life!  Like receiving this box of mini Bioderma samples!  Okay, the negative Nikki would probably go: "All small sample sizes? WHAT?"  (Hashtag MEANIE)  But instead, I went ahead and said: "YAY!  I can finally try Bioderma products!"

Truth be told, I was invited for the grand launch of Bioderma products (the distributor is a very good friend, so is the PR person), unfortunately, family always comes first so I declined the invite so I wasn't able to understand it when my fellow Beauty Blogger friends would rave about these well-sought after products!  

So when I received the BDJ June Box, it was a delight for me to be able to try the brand!  And BDJ box girls were kind enough to add a full sized product that I love!  Will tell you more about it after the jump!

You know how I am so into taking photos on my phone on Kyle's EVERY move!  As much as I have all his facial expressions saved in my laptop, I always choose the best ones and have them printed out and displayed in our living room and bedroom.

You know what guys?  I am so happy my "OC" mom kept all of our baby photos for so many years in a nice album and stored them ABOVE the cabinet on the 3rd level of our home!  You know how it is in the Philippines --- flood here and there and thankfully, she didn't kept it on the first floor as our place gets flooded so many times in a year!

If not because of my mom's mindfulness, you won't be able to see THIS PHOTO of Baby Nikki!

When I got pregnant, I received a couple of "Baby Firsts" books to fill in the pages to complete each milestones of Kyle.  I have to admit, with my extremely busy schedule, I think I only finished the first 4 months and I must admit, I strayed!  With a toddler around, you just can't seem to finish anything!  So I told myself I will just update my son's milestones online with hashtag #KyleNash.  True enough, I can definitely see each of my son's milestones from the day he was born until today.  But I still wish I have at least ONE booklet to summarize his first 12 months without the hassle of scrolling thousands of photos stored in my phone. (yes, thousands na talaga!)

Since I was invited to be Pampers Digital Ambassador, the perks of being one is that, I get to know what they offer first!  I was told Pampers created an app FirstBook!  FirstBook is an online FaceBook app that allows digital-aged mommies like you and me to preserve our baby's first 12 months of development!  And the fun part? I can actually share this to my relatives abroad who haven't met my son in person yet!

Motherhood --- changed me in such a way I can't put into words.

My life literally turned the other way around!  I used to be very independent with all my decisions!  Now, I always think about my son, worry about him, and actually miss him when I attend events or do my makeup gigs and workshops.

Too clingy you say?  Well, you can't blame me, I'm a first time, hands-on mom who really waited for this little angel for years!  My life literally revolves around him and would want ONLY the BEST for him.

But don't let this little angel fool you!  Half of his body is a daredevil!  He's probably dreaming about fun activities that's why I always find myself entangled between his arms and legs and the best scenario?  Waking up with his cute buttocks smacked right on my cleansed-toned-moisturized face!   Fellow mommies, answer me, why do kids sleep like that?  *hahaha* 

AMW Reports: New Pampers Baby Dry Launch

I was invited, together with my little angel, to a launch of the Best and Driest in 10 years, all-new Pampers Baby Dry.  With hashtag #FirstsWithPampers, I can't help but use this hashtag a lot because it is indeed my FIRST with Pampers!

It is a first Mommy and Son event bonding and first to actually have Mr. AMW accompany me!  And you want to know how I felt that day?  I felt like I belong!  So I can't wait for more mommy and son Blogging activities in the future!

Before I talk about the event itself, let me share to you my almost 2-year-journey as a first-time mom.  When it comes to Kyle's many firsts, I documented it all!  You see them on Instagram, on my Blog and I actually jot down notes on my little #KyleNash notebook!  One of the many firsts I remembered jotting down is the many brands of diapers I tried!   #TrueStory  So when I got an invite not only to attend the event but to be a Digital Ambassador for Pampers, I immediately said YES because I am true Pampers user!
