Nail Art Tutorial: Dots, Sparkles & Colors

I've had my Aztec print inspired nails for more than a week and I found myself checking them out once in awhile for inspiration and probably just to uplift my mood!  For such a quick glance, it does give me the sense of colors and happiness and I find it a bit difficult on my part to remove it after both nails on the pinky fingers have already chipped!

Instead of gloating on losing colorful prints, why not create another one that's even brighter and more colorful?  This nail art suits the dark, gloomy weather over the weekend!

Step 1:
Apply your preferred base coat prior to any nail polish application, as soon as the base coat is completely dry, apply 2 coats of a neutral, peachy-nude polish shade and let dry.  In this tutorial, I am using BW Nail Polish gifted to me by my friend.

Step 2:
Pull out all the colors that you want to appear on your nails.

Randomly create different patterns, using different shades!  Each finger can have their own special pattern.  Feel free to think about carnivals, childhood games, etc...!  Be creative and don't be a perfectionist! :)

After you've done your part "playing", your fingernails will look like this!  Or even better! *winks*

Step 3:
This is the best way to blur out imperfections.  Use a sparkly polish of your choice and apply a coat over the base.  I am using Caronia Gold Glitters in this tutorial.

Step 4:
I want to make my nails happier, so I've decided to continue by adding white dots using nail art dotting tool.

Step 5:
This is an optional step but feel free to apply different colored dots on top of the white dots for more dimension

 Step 6:
Once your nail art designs is COMPLETELY dry, apply your choice of top coat.  I am using The Face Shop Top Coat then top another layer of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. These 2 are a perfect pair!  My nail art design and nail polish lasts even with all the constant typing, washing of dishes, etc..!

If these colors can't create a happy vibe, I don't know what to do anymore!  *laughs*  Hope you enjoy this simple yet very fun nail art tutorial!
