Weekend Food Trip at: The Rabbit Hole

I am always on a lookout for new restaurants!  I am not a food blogger but Mr. AMW and I fondly call ourselves foodies-for-life!  We love to bond over food and just chill!  That's how we started when we were dating and that's how we still are even after getting married.

When I was searching for the next AMW Workshop Series location, I was lucky enough to have a chat with fellow blogger Maxine Marcelino and she told me about her family restaurant The Rabbit Hole!  After seeing photos of the restaurant through her phone, I knew I had to give the restaurant a visit and it was the best decision because aside from ending up doing AMW Workshop Series 3 there, we also added another The Rabbit Hole as one of our Favorite hangout place to date!

MUST-TRY! *AMW Approved*
T.R.H. Hickory Spareribs
Php235.00
Pork belly cooked so tender drizzled with hickory barbecue sauce served over plain rice.  This dish really won our hearts!  This particular dish reminds us so much of our favorite "college restaurant" that has already been closed called AKU.

Chicken Teriyaki and Kimchi Rice
Php175.00
Another favorite!  A simple chicken teriyaki dish made special with the Kimchi Rice.  I've tried Kimchi rice in other restaurants that seem to overpower the dish, The Rabbit Hole gave Kimchi Rice a whole new meaning, it complements the saucy Chicken and egg!  It is perfect I tell you!

Belly Good Beef and Kimchi Rice
Php195.00
A recommendation from Maxine and this also works if you are craving for beef!  It comes in tiny beef strips and surprisingly works well with Egg!  Imagine beef tapa minus the extra teeth grinding!

The Rabbit Hole, by the way, also serves good Coffee and Cakes!  We haven't gotten the chance to take photos of our coffee but mark my word, they are served fresh all day and will definitely give you the boost of energy you need.  Of course, their cakes are another story!  You definitely need extra space in your tummy for desserts!  I've tried quite a number of their cakes and these 2 got my votes ---

Brazo De Mercedes

Chocolate Cake

The Rabbit Hole
Techzone, G/F, 213 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Ave, Makati, Metro Manila

Have you dined in this restaurant?
Any other restaurant recommendation within Makati area you would want Team AMW to try?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
