L'Oreal Infallible #NeverFail Challenge + GIVEAWAY!

AskMeWhats is here ....really, to help you challenge certain makeup products (ALL if possible!) because I know how it feels to spend your hard-earned money to something worthwhile or useless!  (been there, done that!)  

When I was asked by L'Oreal Philippines to challenge their Infallible makeup line, as busy as I am and as much as I have so many products lined up to test, I knew I can't drop this opportunity!  I love a good challenge and I can't help but felt the confidence of L'Oreal with their Infallible Line!  

The L'Oreal Infallible makeup isn't new to me, I've tested their 16-HR Pro Matte Powder and Pro-Spray and Set and adding up to the collection are their newest Long Wear Foundation and Lipsticks, I knew I had to try them out all together and see if the power of 3 is definitely better than ONE!

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation 

Shade: 150 Radiant Beige

Radiant Beige is actually a perfect match for me!  Because it has more "warm tone" to it and I am actually extremely warm I tend to use darker shade of foundation not to look too pale!

Application:

I find dotting a good amount on random areas around my face (more on areas that needed coverage) and blend using a damp sponge!  In this photo, I used the newest Pro Studio Beauty Sponge.

The Foundation itself has medium to medium heavy coverage!  It is a lightweight foundation that can be layered again and again without the "cake".  I like to add another layer on areas around my face that needed more coverage, check out my photo using this same foundation as my undereye concealer.

Tip: Using Foundation as a concealer is actually better (in some ways) because it has more liquid consistency thus won't cake as much as cream concealers.  On the CON side, it doesn't have as much coverage as cream concealers.

I may look a tad bit too "warm" or orange but check out my neck!  Radiant Beige actually matches my neck and the rest of my body!

Half-Face Test

See how natural my skin looks?  First impression?  This drugstore liquid foundation from L'Oreal Infallible is promising!

Next, let's set my liquid foundation with the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Powder.  For users who have extremely dry skin, feel free to skip this step or in my case, I like to apply a thin layer on areas that tend to oil up (my T-zone) and my undereye area!

The shade I got is Nude Beige.

As for application, I like to use the sponge that comes with the compact and gently press the powder only on areas that needed some "mattifying" action.

The  L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Powder Nude Beige is almost Translucent, it actually doesn't add up much to the coverage but it gives more of a "matte" look!  So if you are not into matte finish, you may opt to skip this step!  As for me, even with normal/dry skin combination, this powder actually doesn't dry out my skin as expected!  Considering the weather is cooler nowadays, I guess it helps to really prep your skin prior to makeup application (Girls, moisturizer is out bestfriend!)

 L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Spray and Set

 

I actually dislike using this makeup extender setting spray because I felt like adding up too many products will make my skin feels "too made up".  But for the sake of challenge, I actually sprayed once on EACH side of my face focusing more at the center.  I make sure I go 6-8 inches away from my face.

Thankfully, this spray doesn't move my base makeup and the scent goes away after several minutes.  Now, on to the last step.

L'Oreal Infallible 10H LongWear Lipstick

Shade: Resilient Raisin

This is a first for me to try the Infallible Longwear lipstick line!  I got 5 shades to choose from but I opted for a "raisin" shade because I felt the 90's vibe wearing this!  (Hello to my favorite girl and boy bands!)  But this is my "finish look" before I welcome 2017!  I actually wore this makeup look approximately 12 hours straight!  (Sorry girls, I can't do 24 hours!  Help me Lord..I can't!)
