In Her Element Cleansing Products Review

When I was manning my first booth at a Bazaar I joined a couple of months ago, I chanced upon Liz Lanuzo's booth and saw new In Her Element cleansing products.  I have tried her first product called In Her Element Nourish and Cleanse Balm and the experience was extremely positive so I am looking forward to try her 2 new products that deals with cleansing --- I may not be religiously applying skincare products but I never miss a day without cleansing my face.  Cleansing is definitely one skincare secret I value.

Let's start with First Wash Cleansing Oil.  Cleansing Oils are the makeup remover I live for!  No matter how many times I've used, reviewed and loved Micellar Cleansing waters, I always ended up using Cleansing Oils as my overall makeup remover because they melt makeup like no other!

Firstly, I love how In Her Element calls this a FIRST WASH Cleansing Oil because truthfully, no matter how many brands of cleansing oils I've tried, I ALWAYS fellow up with a second wash or even third wash!  So THANK YOU In Her Element for being honest about it!  Users must UNDERSTAND that it is best to follow up with a second wash whenever you use cleansing oils because.....it works better that way!

This cleansing oil is a joy to use because the scent is very relaxing!  It goes on pretty smoothly once you massage on your face and it has this velvety-smooth feel, whenever you massage on your face.  This cleansing oil can remove ALL traces of base makeup, brow products, blush and certain lipsticks.  There are a few hardcore mascara, liquid liner that is left on the eye area just because I don't massage the product on my eye area much because of my sensitive eyes.

Overall, this is a very effective cleansing oil if you want not only an effective makeup remover but a relaxing product too!  Very important for tired moms like me to have a mini facial session even inside my bathroom several minutes before "warzone" with the toddler!

Next, let's talk about the Low PH Rose Gel Cleanser

In Her Element Low PH Rose Gel Cleanser
"Gently cleans and purifies skin to remove dirt, excess sebum, and other impurities; formulated with a pH level of 5.5 to 6 so as not to strip skin of its natural oils; hydrates deeply with aloe leaf juice; softens skin texture with vitamin B5; soothes with licorice extract; brightens with daisy flower extract and milk protein; infused with organic rose distillate for a delicate scent; won’t leave skin feeling dry or tight."

This is a scented facial cleanser which may bother some but since it is rose, I don't mind!  I like how it lathers up pretty well, not bubbly kind but good enough "feel" to have the feeling of cleansing your face!  I like how it melts some makeup left from first wash and it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and feeling fresh!

Thankfully, even with my sensitive skin (it gets dry, itchy and red if the product doesn't suit me)  I didn't have any of those sensation so this stays inside my bathroom!

Overall, both products I tried are impressive and I highly recommend you use both because seriously, you can never go to sleep with just FIRST cleansing!  (For makeup wearers!)

Congrats Liz and In Her Element Team!

  1. Every IHE products are carefully selected I find their pH balanced cleanser to be the most versatile product because our Ayah (who is dry skinned), our shotie (with normal skin) and me (super oily) can share it among ourselves without any adverse reaction to it even though the rose scent (which we guess is natural because the product says it has rose) is very apparent in the formula.
