Kate Tokyo Super Sharp Liner EX Review

How does eyeliner change the way your eyes look?

SO MUCH!

Aside from fixing my brows, I make it to a point to use eyeliner whether liquid pencil or gel on a daily basis!  Well, when we're talking about "on a daily basis" meaning: "RUSH" I always opt for Liquid Eyeliner because I can easily apply them in seconds (per eye) and rush out and look like I've done huge effort in making myself look presentable.

One of the few brands I depend on when it comes to liquid liners are: K-Palette and Lifeford.  And I think after trying this particular Super Sharp Liner from the Japenese Brand Kate Tokyo, I knew this has got to be part of my top 3!

Kate Tokyo has the "normal sized" liquid liner pen called Super Sharp Liner (minus the EX) and I have tried it in the past and it works really well!

But today, I am reviewing an EX version which means, more precise, sharper and just easier for me to draw a very thin and natural line and I also use this to create "fake lashes" to make my lashes both upper and lower part appear thicker.

I have to give 2 thumbs up to Kate Tokyo for the lovely "diamon-like" design of the pen which makes it extra sassy and chic!  I love how I can easily look for this particular pen in my "bunch of pencils" that look the same!  My Kate Tokyo Super Sharp Liner EX stands out!

As for the brush, it is firm yet gentle on skin, non-scratchy and dispenses even amount of liquid liner in every single application!  Based from research, the reason why the brush is so amazing is because the brand collaborated with Japanese Stationery Manufacturer PENTEL (yes, our favorite Pentel brand!)  so this brush is amazing!

The shade that I got is BLACK which is my favorite eyeliner shade by the way and I can create super thin line and wing as seen on photo below.

And just like any liner, I can also opt for thicker liner with no problem at all!

I have been using this for quite some time and tested this in several occasion and weather situation.  I have tried wearing this in a car that is hot and humid (Freon issues!  But car aircon is fixed now!)  And I have also tried wearing this when I was caught in a rain!

• Black shade is pigmented.  Appears matte yet has a subtle gloss.
• Can last the whole day until makeup removal.
• Can withstand certain sweat and oil, but if you have extremely oily lids or are monolided, this may disappear a bit!  Does not smudge much but can disappear.
• Can be removed by regular makeup remover.  Can actually be removed with warm water.
• Fragrance-free.  Okay for my eyes without allergic reactions.
• Price is good for the quality you get.
