Askmewhats Version: "Sweet Meets Joe Black"

Black is black!
Black always ends up dark and smokey! But I wanted to touch a bit of "romance" in my smokey black look, that's when I added a hint of my favorite color --- PINK!

Let me show you a very simple diagram I've done :)

Products Used (eyes) ---

1. MAC Sushi Flower - all over lids, for baby soft pink base
2. Laura Mercier e/s in Black, then topped with LM e/s in Cobalt (for a bit of shimmer

3. MAC e/s in Carbon
4. ELF e/s in white - as highlighter and inside the corner of the eye

Products Used (not in diagram) ---

1. Stila Smudgepots in Black
2. Paul & Joe Curly Mascara in Black

Both eyes closed
This time, I've used the darker colors on my crease area
To create a more dramatic look!

And here goes nothing ---
but LOVE

I've heard that a strong typhoon is coming over (again)

Thanks to the BeautyGeek

I got home, Tuesday night and really not in the mood as weekend is still far away and I'm having a back pain (it's not because of old age oK?)

As I saw a big UPS package at the living room, I didn't expect it to be mine! (as most packages that comes my way needed to be picked up at the post office) It's funny how just a package you haven't even open yet would brighten your day. It's like Christmas all over again!

A little bit of background, this wasn't just something that dropped from the heavens...I joined the Beauty Geek lovely CG Giveaway, because I really wanted to give CG Lash Blast a try but I'm having second thoughts as I've read both rants and raves. Someone out there really does listen to me! :D

1. CG Lash Blast in Very Black
2. Eye Enhancers in blazing blues
3. CG Wetslicks Amaze Mint in Toast-ed

And not to forget, they were all housed in a cute PINK make-up Pouch with 2 coupons <-- that I won't be able to use (too bad)

Thanks to Janine! A beautygeek who's got sense of humor!
and thanks to P&G Canada for sending this to me so FAST!

Eureka Moment: Scholl Buy 2 Take 1 Air Pillo

I've always been honest to you guys on everything I write. And here's one thing you'll learn about me after reading this post. (I bet you're really curious now eh?)

I won't blab further, I'll just breathe in and out...and tell the truth...

I HATE MY FEET!!!

I just realized that I'm shouting that to the world! Well, I do ! I really don't like my feet! Why? Because they are super weak, you can see that my feet is older than my real age, and I can't wear lovely shoes with heels because I'll be limping my way home.

But before I blab further about my feet and give out too much information that may embarrass me further lol I was out shopping with the hubby last weekend and hubby was looking for something comfortable to put in his "work shoes". We found Scholl and this is not a review as i haven't used this yet.

*thinks again* If this is not a review, why am I telling everyone about my bad feet??? :( I can't get over this! LOL

Ok, the reason why I created a special post for this because Scholl Air-Pillo is having a promotion of buying 2 free 1 pair of Air Pillo! Me being a self proclaimed Smart Shopper... I have to tell you guys about this right?
Buy 2 take 1 pair Available at Landmark, Trinoma
(Php160.00+ each approx $3.50)

Hubby bought 2 pairs and the free one is mine! Here's how it looks like (photo below)

Not too thick, a bit thin, so I'm not sure yet how it would perform I don't wear shoes often, so it may take some time for me to review this Or I can always interview my hubby for a review on this :)

Start making peace with your body
I hated my feet too long, and nothing changed!
As long as all the parts of my body are working fine,
everything's ok right?

Nail Art Tutorial: "Vampy Nails"

Let's be vampy! Though I am not keen on using bright red lippies, I am into Bloody Red nail polishes. As long as people look at my nails not my face, I am ok with it :P

Here's another simple "to do" yet Bold "to look at" nail art tutorial for all of you!

Step 1:

Apply any red nail polish as base. I used the ELF nail polish (thanks Toma!)

Step 2:

Using a white nail art pen, draw a triangle dot at the side. (this will look like a half flower)

Step 3:

Same fingernail, draw 5 dots (to create a full flower look)

Here's me using left hand to draw my right nails If I can, YES YOU CAN!
Together please: "YES WE CAN!"

Let me show you my thumb, since the thumbnail has bigger space Draw more dots Look at the blue dots I've done via computer
(this looks useless for now...but you'll get the purpose below)

Step 4:

Using a yellow nail polish pen (or any bright color pen), create a BUD on the full flower (the one you have 5 full dots)

Step5:

Using another colored nail art pen to create a BUD on the HALF flower (you can use the same yellow if you don't have enough colored pens)

Step 6:

Another color again for the other half flower (the thumb has 2 half flowers remember?)

Step 7:

Do not forget to apply a clear nail polish on top of the art.

Sit back, and enjoy your creation!

Tips:
  1. If you don't have enough colored pens, you can use one color on all those flowers!
  2. Apply your nail polish base, and let it dry for a couple of minutes before you start drawing.
  3. Always draw one hand first, STOP, let dry, before you continue the other hand (to prevent smudging)
  4. Invest on a good clear top coat and quick dry polish, to protect what you worked hard for! (you don't want to spend so much time drawing and it'll smudge and chip in less than a week right?)

Again...keep this in mind...
"Imperfection is Perfection!"
