Salon Report: Hair Cut and Aroma Hair Therapy at Azta Urban Salon

Happy Thursday everyone!  Time for Salon Report and I'm so happy to announce that I finally had a tiny "me" time after pregnancy!  To be honest, it was a difficult decision to leave home since I'm very attached with Baby AMW as I've been with him 24/7!  It was a difficult decision but I'm glad I made it to the haircut and hair treatment as my poor hair deserves the TLC!  Motherhood is definitely not a simple task, sometimes, I just want to walk in jacuzzi tub (I wish!)

A couple of years ago, I had Hair Coloring and Gloss Treatment done at Azta Urban Salon (read post HERE), SM San Lazaro branch and so far, the experience was great so it wasn't a difficult decision to go back to this place!

The salon was packed with clients when I arrived so I had to wait a couple of minutes for my turn.  The staffs were really helpful and accommodating and I didn't mind the wait as I get to see what services other customers availed!  The girl beside me had a gorgeous OMBRE hair treatment in purplish red and I wish I can do the same on mine but I have to put hair coloring on hold as I'm breastfeeding Baby AMW!  It's nice to know that the salon strongly suggest me to ask my Doctor regarding hair coloring while nursing to keep baby safe!

I opted for Aromatherapy for my super dry and lifeless hair and a simple hair cut as I still prefer to tie my hair in ponytail when I'm with baby Kyle!

The in thing on hair shampooing?  I used to call this "dry shampooing" back in China.  Dianne applied shampoo on my hair and lather it while seated comfortably on my chair. Then I was asked to proceed to the rinsing area to wash my hair.

AMW Reviews: Kerastase Cristalliste Lumiere Liquide

Good morning AMW Friends!  I know I've blogged so much about Kerastase hair products as I've always been a fan of the brand even way back before blogging!  I have always been a fan of their hair masques and I'm happy to announce that most of the experience with them is great!  As for serums, I've been very keen on finding lightweight versions and so far, most Kerastase serums are lightweight but I never thought I'd find something lighter!

AMW Reviews: Hurraw Lip Balms

The moment I learned I was pregnant, there were a couple of beauty products I stopped using...body lotions, moisturizers, toners, certain facial washes, etc... But one thing I didn't stop using are lip balms!  When I was contacted by Cutieverse.com to try out Hurraw --- an all natural, vegan, and made from premium raw, organic and fair trade ingredients lip balm, who can say no to that?  Since I have Baby AMW, I've been very particular with the products I use on my body as I stay close to him like he's part of my body for 24 hours, so using beauty products made with all natural ingredients is definitely on top of my priority for now!

After a month long usage, I'm ready to share my experience!

AMW Reviews: K-Palette 1Day Lash Perm Volume Curl Mascara

Yay for more mascaras coming from K-Palette!  I reviewed the 1Day Lash Perm Long Curl Mascara early this year, I love how the product promises "length" and it does give me the length I long for!  But, for super short sparse lashes like mine, I prefer mascaras with volume and would you believe, just a couple of months after... Volume Curl mascara came along and I can't wait but give it a try immediately!

Weekend Must Try: Cobo "Awesome PossibiliTeas!"

I am very particular with milk teas!  Trust me, I've had enough of milk teas from various brands and seldom do I get impressed by them!  Why?  I want my milk tea to be consistently good, not too sweet, not too bitter, right amount of coldness and the tapioca pearls (if there's any) should have the right Q-ness (that's how they say it in Taiwan!)

After trying out Coco Milk Tea in Shanghai, I never looked back and never thought I'd be impressed by any milk tea brands here in Manila!  But thankfully, I'm wrong!

What differs Cobo from other milk tea brands is the unique tasty toppings they call Chewdles, Bursting Bubbles and Cocochews!  They also offer fruit juices and teas for those who want to give their taste buds a rest from regular milk teas!
