AMW Reviews: Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

Happy Monday AMW friends!
How was your weekend?  I was sick over the weekend!  It was unusual for me to have cough and cold but my body finally caved in to germs!  It was really difficult as I'm a nursing mom so I didn't take any medication at all fearing some of the medicine may pass to my baby through breast milk!  But don't worry, I'm taking precautions and trying my best not to spread the virus!  :)

Last year (as if it was ages ago..lol) I received Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and Pressed Powder and it took me a while to use it before I can clearly share my review!

The name itself "Nearly Naked" is something WE all wanted for a makeup!  Here's my review on the foundation, the pressed powder will be up soon!

Weekend Food Trip at: Modern China, Glorietta 4

First food post for the year 2014!
Let's talk about Chinese food!  Who loves Chinese food?  Well, obviously, I do!  I can still remember my strong desire to eat Chinese dimsum even a couple of hours before I gave birth!  Yes, I ate even when my doctor was against it!  #TigasNgUlo

Before we bid 2013 goodbye, my friends wanted us to meet up for a quiet post-Christmas dinner.  Modern China was suggested by one of my friend who dined there a couple of times!

Spinach Shrimp Dumplings
Php120.00 (approx $2.79) for 4 pcs
We actually went for 2nd round as this was extremely good!  Even my non-vegetable lover guy friend enjoyed this!  The good thing about Modern China's version of Spinach Shrimp dumpling is that the amount of spinach was just right so you don't get the overwhelming taste of it.

Something New: Inglot

Happy Weekend everyone!
Aren't you excited it's weekend again after going back to work for 2 days?  Well some of you probably aren't back at work until Monday *lucky you* but yours truly is a nerd, I'm back at work on Thursday and Friday so I'm really looking forward for the weekend!

Aside from looking forward for the weekend, I am looking forward for a very busy 2014!  Aside from more makeup seminars, shoots and gigs, I have makeup bookings for the year 2014 so I'm excited to share more makeover photos and tips!  As for makeup, I have thrown most of my makeup from last year (trust me, it hurts but it has to be done as some of them are quite old!)

As they say: "Out with the old, in with the new!"  and one of the new makeup brand that's included in my makeup traincase is Inglot!  I am so happy when I learned Inglot is finally in the Philippines.  They are what most of us are looking for...professional makeup at an affordable price!

I wasn't able to attend the launch of Inglot a couple of months ago, but thanks Martha for helping me pick the shades for my Freedom Palette, you know me too well! I love the colors you picked!

For you who are afraid to visit the store, I'll include pricing details so the next time you pass by Inglot, you wouldn't be scared as the price points are really good considering the wide range of shades you can choose from!

AMW Reviews: Etude House Water Color Blusher in Apricot

How are you AMW friends?
I recently posted a query on my Facebook page (AskMeWhats) asking readers what particular Korean makeup they want me to review!  And guess what?  It wasn't a shocker for me to get requests for Etude House!  It took me some time to finally visit Etude House store at Market Market when I was shopping for Christmas gifts last year!

Thankfully, most of the requests are products I wouldn't mind purchasing!  First stop:  Etude House Water Color Blusher!  The moment I set my eyes on them, I immediately fell in love and swatched them all and picked a shade I would wear on a daily basis!  It's APRICOT!  The shade that would work so well on my skin tone!

Eureka Moment: For Your Home

Happy New Year again AMW Friends!
Are you back at work?  Well, either you're in the office or at home, I would like to thank you for visiting this blog for updates!  I appreciate it a lot! :)  *hugs*

Today is my first Eureka Moment for the year 2014 and there will definitely be more to come!  Since I think you guys are a huge part of my life, I would like to share to you that we are moving (not countries, but I'm referring to home!)  It is not far from where I live but yes, it is one huge step for us to move out and I'm sure it won't be easy!

One thing about the Chinese culture when moving houses, aside from picking a good date, there are also some no-nos when it comes to drilling!  For someone who loves trinkets and cute stuff, and let's not forget, with a baby around, you bet I can fill up the house in no time!  So I'm definitely on the lookout for products that would help us keep our home simple yet organized!

First Eureka Moment --- Home Edition!  SureStick!

SureStick is owned by a dear blog reader and a high school mate of mine!  :)  Thankfully, this isn't a shameless plug as when I received the products, I knew I would love them as they are indeed made of good quality and I can't wait to install them at focal points of our new home!

I know you can find hooks and attachments at various shops but what I love about Surestick is the wide arrays of colors and designs you can choose from!
