Fragrance of the Day: Anna Sui La Vie De Boheme

Happy Saturday!  Aren't you excited February is near?  Obviously, February is my favorite month!  I say that every year!  Let me tell you (again) why it's my favorite!  Aside from the obvious fact that February is the "Heart Month", it is also my birth month (Oh noes!  Come to think of it, I'm getting a year older, why am I even excited? lol)  And..it is the shortest month of the year so I get paid FULL month for less days!  *lol*  dear boss, if you're reading this, please...don't judge me! :P

Since we're on the topic of romance, guys who want to give something special for the women of their lives may need some ideas from the expert (not me) but if you chanced up this blog post...sige na nga, ME na! :)

The gift of scent is something I appreciate!  I remembered Mr. AMW gifting me my favorite Elizabeth Arden True Love scent and I actually associated the scent as my "dating days" scent and I actually wore that scent again on my Wedding Day!  So guys!  *nudge nudge*  go for a scent that suits the personality of your loved ones and it doesn't hurt if the packaging looks romantic and whimsical!

Just like Anna Sui's newest fragrance called La Vie De Boheme (say that again 10x :P)

According to Anna Sui ---
"The La Vie de Boheme lifestyle always evolves, but the constant remains the same.  And that is always a woman who is a bit defiant, a bit romantic, a bit artistic.  In essence, it's truly the modern woman.  Yes, the signature look may be mixed patterns, flowing dresses, boots, floppy hats, but every generation brings its own attitude to it, a unique expression of personal style."

AMW Reports: MAC Technique Event with Gregory Arlt (Tips Overload!)

Happy Friday AMW Friends!
Okay, as seen on my title, this is a post with LOADS of makeup tips that I learned from the recent MAC Technique event!  I am very lucky to be invited by MAC Philippines to attend such event!  I wish I could have stayed longer though as my dear tiny date (Baby AMW) and Mr. AMW was waiting for me inside the car for 2 full hours!  Aren't I the lucky Wife and Mom?  I have 2 gorgeous boys waiting for me as I learn more tips and tricks to share to you guys! :)

Gregory Arlt, to those who do not know him, is a MAC Makeup Artist and a "Beauty Exorcist".  He calls himself a Beauty Exorcist as instead of hiding the face with makeup, he likes to think of it as pulling out the face by enhancing features and bone structures.

Seriously speaking, 2 hours passed by like minutes!  He is not only a great makeup artist but a wonderful teacher!  You get to learn and laugh at the same time as he is a very funny guy!

Now on to the tips!  Gregory Arlt is an international makeup artist who has done the faces of various celebrities from Katy Perry, Dita Von Teese,Liza Minnelli, Fran Drescher, Victoria Beckham, etc...

AMW Reviews: Toni&Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo

Today is a hair day!  I will be sharing a quick review on my most recent Dry Shampoo from Toni&Guy.  When I gave birth to Baby AMW, I followed the 1 month no hair washing and it kills me!  Trust me, if there's one thing I dislike about giving birth, it is the no bath/shower for 1 full month!  The process of giving birth ain't bad to be honest!  *laughs*

The first dry shampoo I've tried is from Dove and it was gifted to me by my dearest friend who swore by it!  But after trying it out in our very humid country, I felt the Dove one isn't enough for our weather.

Recently, I got Toni&Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo and I tested it out right away!  Since I work from home, it is easy to be lazy on days I do not need to get out of the house!  I tested this product several times and I'm finally ready to reveal if this product is worth it or not.

Toni&Guy says ---
TONI&GUY Dry Shampoo absorbs excess oil and grease from the hair root to extend the life of your hair without washing it by a day. The advanced formula leaves no white residue while adding body, volume and texture for a quick restyle.

I Wonder: What's Your Current Hobby?

Happy Wednesday!  Aren't you glad you can literally sniff weekend?  I can't wait for this weekend as it is my mom and dad's wedding anniversary plus we're probably off to Divisoria again to shop for Baby Kyle's First Birthday Party contest prizes!  Last weekend, we bought A LOT of cool prizes for kids (even I wanted them all) and after doing a bit of inventory, we realized we needed more!  So there's more reason for us to go back to crazy-shopping-land! :D

Since I've seen a lot of cute and really nice stuff at Divisoria, I realized I want to know more about my readers!  I mean, it's always about me and my day and my beauty products!  For now, let me sit back, relax and read about YOU!  I want to know what is your current hobby aside from makeup collecting of course! :)

As for me, I'll share a quick one!  I recently got Washi Tapes from Washi Works and to be honest, I thought it was not something I would be interested in as I am seriously a boring girl with not much creative juice!  But as soon as I got these 4 tapes, I immediately got a "light bulb" *TING* moment and played with them right away!

So you're right, I "washi-fied" so many of my random stuff and my next target?  Makeup Palettes!  Even before Washi Tapes, I have this liking to "personalize" my palettes just like the one I did with my Elianto Palette (Post HERE

AMW Reviews: Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Blusher in Mellow Wine

Hi everyone!
Let's talk about blush!  When I started my love for makeup, I actually started on blushes!  I purchased random drugstore brands both local and international ones!  One of my favorite local brand is the Aido blush and it's actually housed in a simple round packaging and I could never ever finish them up!  I tend to lose them and purchase a new one!

Now that there are so many international makeup brands coming in, we tend to look into expensive blush brands and forget about the inexpensive ones and mind you, some works just as good as the expensive ones!  Today, I will be sharing another good find girls who are on a budget may want to try!

(not the original packaging on sale)

Just by looking at the packaging, it spells boring and blah.... but this is the perfect time for me to say: "Please don't judge the book by it's cover" or in this case, please don't judge the blush by it's cover!
