Initial Thoughts: Zenutrients

It's almost my birthday!  Though getting a year older, I don't mind!  I'm honestly excited as I can't wait to celebrate my 35th birthday with Baby Kyle! :)  I can still remember how happy I was last year with the little bundle of joy inside my tummy as he excitedly moved inside as my family sang Happy Birthday to me!  Now, I can literally see him smile and clap on my special day! :)

Seriously, how excited I could get?  My birthday is not until Friday!  Yes it's on the 28th!  But please bear with me...that's how I am..perky! LOL

Today, I will be sharing my Zenutrients favorite!  Because of Sampleroom, I was able to try Zenutrients products which I possibly wouldn't try on my own!  Speaking from the bottom of my heart, not because I'm one of Sampleroom's ambassadors but because I highly believe in Trying before Buying!  So please head on to the Sampleroom website, earn points and grab samples!  The company is match made in heaven for bloggers like myself.

Back to Zenutrients!  *laughs*  How can my introduction get that long?

Weekend Food Trip at: Vikings Buffet Restaurant

Hi AMW friends!
Hope you're feeling great today!  I had a lovely Saturday and as you can check me out on Instagram (@AskMeWhats), you can see that I've done quite a lot of things in half a day!  *proud*

I also celebrated my birthday in advance with family #1 (Mr. AMW's Family) and there's more to go! The perks of being married, you have a HUGE family!  And I love it!

Speaking of food, finding a good restaurant to celebrate my birthday every year is a pain in the head (and wallet *lol*), you want to make sure everyone enjoys the food!  For me, a no-brainer birthday party venue would be a "buffet" restaurant!

So far, I'm not a fan of buffet restaurants as I don't want to stuff myself with food and get a stomachache after (yes, that's me being greedy!)  But early this year, our family celebrated New Years at Vikings, Macapagal Avenue and I was expecting the usual "buffet" restaurant wherein you just stuff your face with "so-so" food and not feel contented.

Vikings is different!  I actually enjoyed my experience!  To be honest, I wanted to enjoy it so much I didn't really take good photos of the food (plus the fact that we arrived late so there's not much food left on the buffet table!)

Something New: L'Eau Jolie by Lolita Lempicka

I can never get enough of fragrance and I'm lying if I tell you I don't get excited every time I receive fragrances as press gift or from friends and family as gifts!  I can never get enough of them just like lipsticks!
Just to share to you how much fragrance I own to date?  Well, imagine a big clothes hamper and I almost filled them all with bottles after bottles of scents that keeps me alive through the years!  (I don't usually store them in clothes hamper by the way, I had to put it there when I was moving out.)

And I still want more!  Sorry for the greediness *lol*  But there is something about perfume bottles that attracts me!  They attract me more than abs in men!  (Promise!)

Imagine my "yelp" when I received my first Lolita Lempicka fragrance called L'Eau Jolie.  It is housed in an apple shape bottle and this bottle is definitely "display" worthy!

"The top notes are blackcurrant and nashi pear, sprinkled with violet leaf. A round bouquet then releases elegant notes of neroli, peony and peach blossom. The base notes: musk, cedar and sandalwood bring warmth to this subtle elixir, which does not overwhelm the senses, but delicately stirs them. Seduction is inevitable yet subtle." - L'Eau Jolie by Lolita Lempicka

I Wonder: How Adventurous Are You? (Hair Edition)

Hi everyone!  It is a gorgeous Thursday today!  The day keeps getting busier each day, though tired, I am loving every moment of 2014!  There are just so many happenings the first quarter of the year so I can't wait for the next!

Today, I have a question I've been meaning to ask you for quite some time!  I took time because I need to find photos just to prove a point!  *laughs*  Okay, it wasn't easy for me to find old digital photos of myself as I realized I'm a "Kodak" girl!  "Kodakan" days using "Kodak" films *hahaha*

Let's talk about hair!  Though my hair really isn't my "crowning glory" as it isn't the hair shampoo commercial type.  I still love them dearly and I make sure to take care of them!  I have spent a lot on hair products and God knows the sacrifices I've done just to save money to purchase hair styling products!

What's my signature cut?  Ask anyone from my "school" days and they would say: "Short with bangs".  No wonder I'm called "The Bangs Girl".

Okay, I can't seem to find my grade school photos but my hair technically looks the same as the photos below!  *laughs*

First photo upper left, I had bangs, I just clipped it because I was just experimenting, and the end part?  My bangs won! :P

After my "studious" days, I guess I got tired of the "above the shoulder" or shoulder-length hair so when I started working, I've decided to grow my hair long (thanks to Rebonding service) and went for serious layers!  For years, I had my hair either long or a bit below the shoulder!  I bid full bangs goodbye and sported side fringe!  I did play around with hair colors as well, yet I never went for wild hair color!  In these years, I also enjoy styling my hair and experimented on curls (with the use of flat and curling irons).
