AMW Reviews: L'Oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation

You probably know by now how much I am into liquid foundation that gives "glow from within".  That's why the most recent Max FactorX Skin Luminizer Foundation earned a thumbs up from me because of the "natural effect" it gives + the natural glow.

BUT, can I just say, I've found another drugstore foundation that gives MORE inner glow?  I mean serious inner glow I myself can't seem to understand!

Now, oily-skinned readers may be running to the opposite direction after reading my first few paragraphs!  Please, don't!  Let me share to you some information you may need to know, and guess what?  You can decide at the end of the review whether you need this in your life or not!

Olay Regenerist Miracle Duo Initial Review

I've said it before and I'll say it again, to have a perfect make up look, you have to have a good canvass.  Having a good canvass means having good skin!  

I really got serious with my skincare routine during my late twenties!  I'm glad I didn't scrimp on skincare because I can honestly see the difference of my skin today than a decade ago!  All thanks to my constant application of the right skincare products meant for my skin type.

I always get email queries like: "What is the best brand of skin care product?  Which particular skin care brand do you swear by?"

For the past 8 plus years of constant testing and trying out products, my answer is still: "I can't tell!"  Skin care products are very personal, to, to make a particular skin care product work for you, those products have to target what your skin lacks or needs.

All I can do for now is to help guide you to grab the best skin care product for you ---

• Know your skin type - Oily, Dry, Normal, Sensitive or combination?
• State your skin concern - Obvious pores?  Fine Lines and wrinkles?  Oily skin?  Dry and Flaking skin?

From there, you can choose products based on your requirements, and trust me, it won't be that overwhelming!

Just as blogger with so many skin care products to try and review.  I only choose those that are meant for my skin type and skin condition and for the rest?  I maybe have my family members to try them for me!  

Recently, Olay launched a Miracle Duo that seems worth to try.  I have to admit, I have tried past Olay products that seems not to work much on my dehydrated and dull skin!  So this line is actually exciting for me!

Mr AMW's First Event: Asus ZenFone2 Manila Launch

When I got an invite over email to attend the launch of the most coveted Asus ZenFone2, I knew I had to be there as I am a fan of Asus ZenFones!  Remember my previous review on Asus ZenFones 4 and 5?

They are affordable, designed so beautifully and the best part?  They perform!  But because my mom's health comes first, I declined the invite because I had to clear out my schedule that day to accompany my mom for a check-up.  (Yes, even had to say no to Shen's 1st birthday party for CC!)

The Lord indeed works in mysterious way!  I got an email again asking me to bring a representative and guess what?  Mr. AMW is available that day and he was ecstatic to be part of this launch!  He has heard so much about ZenFone2 and is extremely excited to take a look at this phone up close and personal!

Just so you know, our Asus ZenFone5 is working great even after using this for more than half a year!  It may have a bit of scratches but still works wonderfully!  That's why the upgraded ZenFone2 is definitely on Mr. AMW's wishlist!  

How to: Eye Make Up For Hooded Eyes

Hi loves!  Today, I am finally sharing a tutorial on how I would do a typical "hooded eye make up" look for my clients.  When I say typical, I do not use the exact shades all the time but I do use the same technique to create bigger looking eyes without looking fake!

One of the easiest way to create "fake crease" for hooded eyes is to do the "cutting of the crease" technique (Let me know if you want me to do a separate tutorial on this.)  The "cutting of the crease" technique is PERFECT if you are just going for "photography make up" (ex. Prenup, graduation photos, etc...).  If you have hooded eyes and you are attending a very important event like Weddings, Birthday Parties, etc... wherein people will see your make up up-close PLUS you may obviously need to blink in front of them, I highly recommend to do a "dome-shaped" eye make up instead.

Am I confusing you?  Well, I hope not!  So as to clearly state what I want to tell you, I have created another "photo-torial" for you to understand!

Remember the recent Happy Skin Beauty in Bloom Launch I attended?

Well, I immediately road-tested the 2 shades I got from the Beauty in Bloom collection.  The Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Lip & Cheek Mousse Beauty in Bloom Duo.  

The reason why you won't be seeing the usual "AMW review" outline is because I already reviewed my first Happy Skin Lip & Cheek Mousse HERE.  The first shade I own is called Swept Off My Feet and I loved it so much it is a stable on my "make up station".  

Upon seeing both limited edition shades --- The Morning After and Summer Crush --- I am leaning more on the shade The Morning After judging by swatch and how it looks on tube!  After using both on several occasions --- I am definitely playing favoritism!  I have one favorite shade among the 2 and I'll tell you more about it when you see how both products look worn on cheeks and lips.

Now let me share to you the packaging.  When you purchase the DUO, you get tube carton packaging that I can't throw out!  This is sitting on top of my dresser organizer and I love how it gives a girly vibe!
