AMW Reports: Clothes Buffet Season 2

I may not be called a "Fashionista" but I'm proud of 3 things ---

1. My ability to "sniff" if a store has anything that I would want without getting inside the store --- call that talent!
2. Just by mere looking at the clothes, I would know if they fit or not. --- Eagle Eyes!
3. How good of a "packer" I am!  I used to work and live overseas so bringing in your whole room to another country in a large suitcase and a hand carry?  --- God's gift I tell you!

So when I heard about Clothes Buffet Manila last year, I told myself, I had to be there!  BUT, due to crazy schedule called Motherhood and a lot of conflict with jobs here and there - I missed it!  Thankfully, I was told there will be a Season 2!  And thankfully, I was on Season 2 because I heard they are BIGGER and BETTER!

The launch happened last Friday at Le Jardin.

AMW Reviews: Burt's Bees Lip Crayons

How much do you love lip products?  A lot?  How many brands can you name at the moment?  A lot still right?
But how many can you name to me that you can be 101% sure to be safe?  Even when you're pregnant?  Nursing?  

Not a lot right?
Well, Burt's Bees brand definitely came to mind!  As much as I love Burt's Bees for creating safe and natural products with ingredients you can find even in your kitchen, my only complaint from them in the past is their lack of "colors".  I know they do have a couple of my favorite lip products but when I want intensity, I just had to go to other brands.

NOT THIS TIME!

I was so excited when I learned I had to do a make-up training for the Beauty Bar Staffs last month and the product focus are Burt's Bees Lip Crayons --- "You guys have Lip Crayons now???"  --- was my first question.

Thanks to May, I got first dibs!  I was able to test all 5 products before the workshop!  As excited as I was to share to everyone about it, I have to keep mum for a couple more weeks until they are available in the market --- see?  AskMeWhats can be trusted! :P 

So yeah, if you were one of those who asked me in person: "What lipstick are you wearing?" and I had this weird look and changed topic --- the answer is Burt's Bees Lip Crayons!

Yehey!  No more secrets!  Because they are OUT!!! 

Overview of all 5 shades --- can you pick your favorite?

There are a total of 6 shades internationally but the Philippine market only have 5.  It wasn't a bit deal because all these 5 shades are good enough for every lipstick loving gals!  You get pink, peach/coral, brown and red!

Weekend Food Trip at: Mitsuyado Sei-Men + Etude House SM North EDSA Grand Opening

Yesterday was fun!  It was my first ever collaboration with Etude House Philippines and you can see with the smile on my face how Happy I looked and how fun it is to meet the VIP Princesses too!

Seldom will you find me at SM North EDSA because of the difficulties in parking and the traffic in going there!  Yesterday was no exception but it was all worth it after seeing the newest Etude House boutique!  The place was packed and I myself can't help but look around each display area wondering what to target next (yes, even I wanted to shop on spot!)

Blogger friend Marj Sia was there from 2-4pm to give makeovers while I was there for the 4-6pm slot!  I also met 3 AMW readers who joined the contest!
 

KidZania in Manila!

Hi Fellow Mommies!
You're probably as excited as I am to know that KidZania is finally here in Manila!  To those who don't know what KidZania is all about, well, it is a city designed especially for children aged 4-14 years old.  A place where kids can explore, understand the world of grown-ups.  A pretend place on whatever profession they had in mind!

I have to admit, I wished we had this when I was young!  I have my own big blackboard (the ones from restaurants where they write their menu) and my mom would buy me boxes of chalk (thanks Mom for being so supportive!)  I love to play Teacher and teach my imaginary students (the dolls!)  Who would've thought I may not be a Teacher in profession but I fulfilled my childhood dream to be a teacher when I worked as a Business English Professor in China?  And who would've thought I could combine both my dreams and passion and have been teaching makeup professionally too?  

That's why I highly recommend parents to bring their kids at KidZania Manila, it may be a playtime for them today but it will leave them a lasting good memory for them when they grow older!  Just like my mini "KidZania"-land back home.

So back to KidZania!  Thanks to fellow blogger for extending the invite to us mommy bloggers!  We get to see KidZania before it officially opens to Public at a discounted rate!  Thanks J!

Once you get into the KidZania World, you feel like you are inside the airport ready for your flight!  You line up like you usually do in an airport and that's where you actually pay for your tickets.

Thankfully, there are many staffs who will assist you.  

Unboxing: BDJ July 2015 Prepped and Polished Box

As some of you may go "Hohum" on the previous BDJ boxes, my heart gave a skip on this month's PREPPED and POLISHED Box!  The name says it all!  Who doesn't like to look prepared and polished wherever we go?  I know I do!  As I seem not to sport that look nowadays with all the crazy schedule!  

What I like about this month's box how diverse the brands they included here.  But all of them have the same purpose --- to make us feel good both in and out.

Let us start with the most "obvious" product/s in the box!  It just came out of the market and you've probably seen ads on all social media!  And yes, BDJ Box subscribers, you get to try them immediately!
