When I was asked to join this advocacy called Philips MOM for Moms, I did a bit of research online and immediately said YES!

Why?

Well, firstly, Philips is a leading health technology company and has always done various projects to hep improve the lives of mankind.

Today, they are embarking on a grand and never-before-done feat of monitoring mothers-to-be who are at high risk of pregnancy-related complications in the Philippines.

The event was held at Makati Diamond Residences last November 21st and was hosted by fellow mommy Ms. Issa Litton.

AMW x Dynamic Youth Workshop Series: Makeup 101 with Nikki Tiu

That prayer stands true, I thank God each and every day on the blessings I receive after I announced the launch of AMW Workshop Series last February 2016.  Who would've thought I've done a total of 4 workshops for this year?  And a 5th one coming up before the year ends!  And one Filipino-Chinese association Dynamic Youth, Inc. partnered with AMW Workshop Series to create 2 workshops for their members.

"Dynamic Youth Inc, a non-profit organization, founded in 1954 has a goal of promoting and maintaining the Chinese culture and language among the Filipino-Chinese youths by sending them to a study tour every summer, and officially inducting them as members of the community after the tour. With more than 10,000 members all over the archipelago, Dynamic Youthcontinues to be bonded by charitable projects to share our blessings to the less fortunate, and also fun activities like basketball, photography classes, badminton, zumba classes and more. In line with this, Dynamic Youth has decided to partner up with Ms. Nikki Tiu to hold make-up classes for our members who want to learn the how-to's of proper make-up application."

It was held 2 Sundays of July and it was one experience I will NEVER forget.

My Talk on My Biogenic World: Playtime Discoveries

Remember the "invite" I posted last time?  Well, time flew by pretty quickly and look!  It's already Mid-August and the My Biogenic World Playtime Discoveries event was held last July 30 and 31!  It seems just like yesterday when I was having cold feet because it was a FIRST for me to talk about "motherhood" on stage!  Particularly at the Activity Area of Market! Market! which, by the way, is HUGE!

Even before turning into an "AskMeMom", amidst the popularity of alcohol in "gel form", I am still a believer of regular alcohol.  I'm old school (Not old :P )  but I have this sense of comfort every time I spritz.  Especially when I'm outside with no access to soap and running water.

During those times, alcohol housed in a spritzer bottle is not a regular thing yet so I would purchase my own perfume atomizer and put alcohol instead so I can safely use it anytime, anywhere!  (Especially public washrooms!)

2016 didn't come out right, Kyle got sick - fever and vomits a couple of times yesterday.  But I won't let that damper my New Year spirit!  I know this is just some of the small challenges I need to face to be a stronger person for the coming year!

Speaking of Year 2016.  I am calling this AMW Year!  Why?  There will be so many things in store for me and "My Baby".  I will be kicking off the year with more workshops (OPEN TO ALL!) and these workshops will be focused on the needs of attendees!  So for the first quarter, I am still fixing everything and hope it can be right on time for my Blog's 8th Year Anniversary!  Wooohoo!

Now, you all know how I've been around the Metro doing workshops here and there!  And one of the brands I worked multiple times with is with Benefit Philippines!  So it was a perfect way to end my 2015 with an AMW Christmas Bash with hashtag #BenefitLovesAMW

Weekend Food Trip at: Mitsuyado Sei-Men + Etude House SM North EDSA Grand Opening

Yesterday was fun!  It was my first ever collaboration with Etude House Philippines and you can see with the smile on my face how Happy I looked and how fun it is to meet the VIP Princesses too!

Seldom will you find me at SM North EDSA because of the difficulties in parking and the traffic in going there!  Yesterday was no exception but it was all worth it after seeing the newest Etude House boutique!  The place was packed and I myself can't help but look around each display area wondering what to target next (yes, even I wanted to shop on spot!)

Blogger friend Marj Sia was there from 2-4pm to give makeovers while I was there for the 4-6pm slot!  I also met 3 AMW readers who joined the contest!
