Weekeend Foot Trip at: Open Table Restaurant

Every single weekend of the year (Saturdays OR Sundays), we meet up with my family for a quiet dinner just to catch up on each others' lives!  Because of that, I'm starting to let them try new restaurants as much as I can because we really love bonding over food!

Because I am a researcher at heart, I've found a restaurant called Open Table located at Mother Ignacia, Quezon City.

This is a small restaurant wherein they can fit 2 small tables on the first floor and around 20pax max on the second floor.  I highly recommend to call the restaurant for reservation if you plan to dine in big groups!  I gave them a call earlier because my dad is on wheelchair and thankfully, we were able to get the 2 tables at the first floor because the stairs are quite steep going up for an almost 80 year old person!

I checked out their menu prior to going there but unfortunately, a lot of the dishes we wanted to try are unavailable!  We were told by the friendly staffs that they didn't have any deliveries that day which I understood because it was nearing Christmas when we dined there.

For the year 2018, I get a glimpse of what's in store for brands Guerlain, Shiseido, Elizabeth Arden, adding New York-based skincare brand Peter Thomas Roth in the roster during the International Press Shopping Event at Century City Mall.

Let's start with the newest brand that recently hit our shores!

Peter Thomas Roth, is the brand I usually see on online sites like Sephora and Ulta and I'm glad to check them out in person!

Clio Kill Brow Auto Hard Brow Pencil Review

When you visit a Club Clio store, you'll see this brown and yellow box displayed as one of their top-selling product in store!  Personally speaking, I find an Eyebrow Pencils to be the easiest to find because they are either GOOD or BAD!  No in-between!

But after hearing raves about this particular pencil, I have to grab one and see for myself!  I mean a pencil is just a pencil, what more can it do right?

WRONG!  I find this to go beyond my expectations and I'll tell you why!

AMW Cooks: Purefoods Crispy Pata and Lechon Kawali

Those who follow me on #AMWIgStories can see that I cook on a daily basis!  Meals that I prepare are always quick and easy-to-do!  Most of the meals I created for the family took 10-15 minutes.  Maybe 30-minute meals on days I have the luxury of time! (Which is seldom by the way!)

Can I share a tiny secret?  I kind of imagine myself to be the Rachael Ray in my own kitchen!

But due to my extremely busy schedule, I either prepare meals in advance (marinate and freeze them) or pick a phone and call our trusty nearby restaurant for food deliveries.

As much as restaurant food is nice to have once in a while, doing it a couple of times is quite tiring for our taste buds so I'm always on a lookout for quick and easy-to-do meals that doesn't taste "instant".

Yes my dear friends, photo below is a meal I've made in less than 30 minutes!

The NEW Purefoods Heat and Eat
Variants: Crispy Pata and Lechon Kawali
These 2 variants are amazing because these are my family's favorite and I always order them in restaurants.  As much as I can do both dishes at home, I find that it's taking a bit more time than my usual 10-15 minutes dishes and I'd rather spend quality time bonding with my son over activities.

Biore Micellar Cleansing Water Moist Up Review

I love makeup removal, I immediately remove my makeup whenever I get home and since I came from a Chinese family who are mostly serious about not washing your face when you're tired, Micellar Waters are heaven-sent because I can immediately remove my makeup without water!  (Note: I still wash my face after because I love double cleansing!)

Because of that, Micellar waters are a staple on makeup removal routine.  I have finished up various brands and tried both inexpensive and expensive brands!

Today, I will be sharing a review on one of the most positively-reviewed brand called Biore!  It comes with 2 variants --- Oil Control and Moist Up.  I obviously chose the latter because I have dry skin!

If I may have to add, thank you to BRANDS who make skincare products meant for different skin types!  We LOVE you for that!
