Discovering the richness of Nature with the All-new Cream Silk Rich Organic Powerfusion Ultra Conditioner

For someone who was born with dry, frizzy hair, I have relied on conditioners for so long.  One brand I really talk highly about (yes, you can even search in this blog my old postings) is Cream Silk.

What I like about Cream Silk conditioners is how they find solutions for each hair issues.  And to be honest, after trying out so many variants from the brand, I would never thought that one day, they would outdo themselves once again.

Harnessing the power of nature, Cream Silk unveils its first ever conditioner inspired by the best that Mother Earth has to offer:

. The country’s #1 haircare brand combines its signature moisturizing technology with organic balms and luxurious natural oils in one product, for naturally luscious hair that blooms with life.

“For the past 35 years, Cream Silk has given modern Filipinas the best solutions to make sure their hair is always at its ultimate,” says Carlos Corrales, Cream Silk’s Senior Brand Manager. “This year, we are proud to introduce our first ever conditioner that combines technology and the power of nature to help even more of our Cream Silk women unlock the secret to intensely nourished hair.”

I managed to squeeze in a ZOOM event with Cream Silk for their launch a couple of weeks ago and here's what I learned.

Infused with Cream Silk’s advanced technology, Cream Silk Organic Powerfusion is also fortified with natural ingredients and tested and loved by Filipinas. Its two variants, Rich Moisture and Rich Lustre, are made with balms, which are known to moisturize dry surfaces, and oils, which are known to add shine and lustre. These also lock in hydration and smoothen hair from the root, protecting it from external elements and further damage.

Jamie's Artisan Blooms Edible Cheesecake Snowglobes

How beautiful are blooms that can be eaten?
I remember how my mom would say: "Don't waste money on flowers, they will be thrown to the trash, better spend on food!"

Why not give her both?
A beautiful bloom that can be eaten?

I was recently introduced to Jamie's Artisan Blooms who was born because of lockdown!  Would you believe the business started a little bit after Mother's Day?  Yes, I get all those background information because the "baker" herself is my schoolmate.

It started because of her love for Art (she has always been talented, working closely with brands for collabs) and here she was.  Even she herself was surprised on getting into food business!

But for a newbie like her, I would say she is a perfect example of giving chances to EVERYONE.  Who would've thought someone who really isn't professional in the kitchen would come up with products looking more than professional?  I mean just look at these!  These are made with care and extreme talent but at the end of the day - food is food.  I have to taste these and let you know my thoughts....

Sakura Inspired Makeup look with Kate Tokyo Red Nude Rouge

Hi everyone!
I am on fire when it comes to makeup looks!

I guess it's the pandemic that made me want to keep myself busy, to do the things I love and want to do so I will keep my thoughts away from the stress of the pandemic.

I know, some may say: "What? Who would wear makeup?"
ME!

I don't go out, I went out totally 2 times ever since March 2020 but hey, I admit, I wear makeup and fix my hair at home!  You can obviously see that on my IG Stories and posts.  It makes me sane...it makes me happy.  I'm not sure if you feel the same.

Sometimes, I get inspired to create a specific look based from a new makeup item.  Kate Tokyo recently launched their newest lipstick line called Red Nude Rouge and I am loving it!  I usually get inspired to wear a specific lip color based from the eye makeup but it seems like I am more inspired to create this eye makeup look after trying out these exciting red lip colors!

Jennie Kim Inspired Hair and Makeup for Blackpink's Ice Cream MV

When BlackPink's newest MV with Selena Gomez dropped, I was one of the Millions who waited for it and watched it excitedly.

I was caught by Jennie's particular hair and makeup when she was riding a bike! It looks so fresh, fun and charming I immediately thought of doing her hairstyle for a quick Tiktok tutorial video.

When I searched online for her photo (which are mostly screenshots from MV), I haven't seen a clear professional photo as of typing but it was good enough to zoom in and I was intrigued with her eye makeup!  I knew I had to recreate it even if I knew in my heart there's no way I would look like her!  The effort is there though, right? :D

The hair was quite easy to do as this was my highschool hair!  The only challenging part is trying to fix my side bangs making it the same direction as Jennie's!

Feel free to use hair pins or best, use a hairspray!

I am sure there could be MORE makeup products used to achieve Jennie's look, but based from my zooming skills, the major colors are Pink, Purple and Green and a bit of an eye contour shade which I used light brown for blending.

It was a bit hard to get the exact lip color but this is the best I did so far.
