Love Month Look

 

Hi AMW Friends!

I’ve said it so many times, February is my favorite month for so many reason!  

There’s Valentine’s Day, Lunar New Year (mostly celebrated in this month), My Birth Month, Ash Wednesday usually falls on this month and cooler weather of course.  If not because of COVID-19, we are probably going to Tagaytay every weekend for that blast of cool and fresh air!  How I wish the pandemic will be all behind us soon!

So back to my small world here at home, I have been staying in my office / “Beauty Room” more often.  Playing with new and old makeup can lighten up my mood anytime of the day.

I recently got all these goodies from Sephora , I got super excited and tried the Huda Beauty Naughty Nude Palette immediately together with the Nudestix x Pony collection.

Here’s the final look!  Very pink right?

Happy Friday!

Today, I will be sharing a super nice eyebrow pencil from the brand Bobbi Brown called Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long Wear Brow Pencil in Espresso.

I have always been a fan of this brand in terms of professional and personal use.  I have relied on the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner for so many years I can’t seem to survive without them in my kit.

For the first time, I tried their Eyebrow pencil and I was literally shaking my head thinking: “Why just NOW?”

Apologies for the Quarantine brows!  I haven’t had my brows professionally trimmed and shaped professionally.  I kind of enjoyed this bushy brow “Brooke Shields” effect.

So back to this pencil, there are a total of 8 shades on website - Espresso is located at 2nd to the last (Meaning 2nd to the last darkest shade!). It is defined as A black brown; for dark/darkest brown to black hair with a neutral undertone.

This shade is perfect for my hair color and skin tone!  It was like I went to the store and the SA handpicked this for me!

Music has already been a major part of my life.  From the time I go to work every single day (an hour to an hour and a half ride) to working at an enclosed office in front of the computer, I already have my trustee MP3 Player and a speaker or earphones!  

Fast forward to more than a decade later, I still depend on music to perk me up just like a cup of coffee would.  Right now, I am listening to BTS Playlist as I type this post!  

Now that I have a kid who likes his peace, I need a good wireless earphone whenever I work out because he was either busy studying or doing his homework and I don’t like to disturb him.

64Hydro Customized Water Bottles Review

 

I am one hell of a coffee-drinker and lacks water.

BAD, I know!

But I have been suffering because of that - (TMI coming up!)  Irregular Bowel Movements, Dry Skin, Stomach Acid and a whole lot more!

My husband has been serving as my “drink water” alarm for years! ! Thankfully, ever since I started working out, my water intake increased - not a lot - but at least I’m going somewhere.

Thankfully, I get easily inspired and swayed by cute stuff!  I was recently contacted by the good folks of 64Hydro  to try out their customized bottles!  Truthfully it was the best and worst experience shopping on their website!  

HEAR ME OUT!

Why worst?  Well, they have SO MANY Designs to choose from and for someone who loves EVERYTHING CUTE - trimming my choices down to 1 or 2 was hard!  It took me a WHILE to choose my desired bottles!  Obviously, the winners have special meaning (well not really!  Hahaha) but I have my reasons.

 

For an extreme coffee-drinker, It was an easy decision for me to choose something coffee-related for the Stainless Steel Mug and for a fitness enthusiast, I went for Fitness-related water bottle.

Quick Semi-Formal Hairstyle

 

Even at this day and age - okay guys, I am turning 42 years old this month end!

Nothing will stop me —- NOTHING, from doing hairstyles that I have been doing since I was in Gradeschool.  I never had the chance to grow my hair long as I was raised in a strict household with strict rules from my mom!  Hair should never reach the shoulders because it will distract you from studying! (Well, moms definitely know best!  I will probably be staying in front of the mirror doing various hairstyles instead of studying!)

For CNY, I’ve decided to dress up and put my hair down!  My hair has always been in ponytail or in high bun the whole LOCKDOWN - that is almost a year!  So this my friends, is the longest hair length I have to date!

Is it hard to manage? YES!  At times, it will be untangled from al the playful games I play with my son.  The ends get so dry and I need to repurchase shapoos and conditioners more often than before!  And oh, let’s not forget the contant hair treatment plus the additional hair serums, heat protectant ad Oils that I invest on.
