Elizabeth Arden Available At Shopee!

 

Everyone who is close to me know how much of an online shopper I am!  Even pre-pandemic, online shopping has always been my expertise kaya it isn’t unusual for me to shop even for groceries, toys, homeware and even beauty items!

So recently, I was searching for an eye product since I already “hit the pan” on a lot of eye products.

SPAM® Burrito Recipe

 

Ingredients:

For Burrito

● 1 can SPAM®, sliced into strips

● 4 tortilla wraps 8’’

● 2 cups cooked rice

● 4 pcs chopped garlic

● 2 pcs tomato

● 1⁄2 pc white onion

● 4 pcs egg

For the sauce

● 1 cup sour cream

● 1 bunch spring onions

Directions

1. Heat oil in a pan, and fry strips of SPAM® Luncheon Meat.  Set aside.

2. In a separate pan, fry the chopped garlic, add the rice, and season with salt.

3. Chop the tomato. Chop the white onion. Mix together and season with salt.

4. In a separate pan, scramble the egg, season with salt, and fry.

5. Chop the spring onions and mix with the sour cream.

6. Heat the tortilla wrap in pan (or you may bake in oven after assembling.  

7. Assemple garlic rice, tomato and onion, and SPAM®. Drizzle with a spoon of the sauce, and wrap into a burrito. 

8. Cut in half, and serve with sauce on the side.

Benefit POWmade Brow Pomade Review

 

I have reviewed every single brow product from Benefit Cosmetics I believe.

As far as I remember, most of the eyebrow products from the brand earned at least a THUMBS up from me.  Some earned 2 thumbs up!  One of my favorite brow product from the brand is the Benefit Ka-Brow - shocking right?  You would expect me to pick a pencil but brow cream/gel are actually easier to manage and gives off a more natural vibe!  The only issue?  I had a hard time using it with the small glass pot opening and how at times I get to “accidentally” not close the cap well making half of my Ka-Brow gel dry up!  

I am not sure if the new Benefit POWmade Brow Pomade is somewhat a relative of Ka-Brow but if you ask my opinion, yes, it is really similar but housed in a way better packaging!

On ribbons and wastage.

Let’s not throw them away! 

In a year, I receive so many PR Kits, gifts and cakes and ribbons are visible at least 60% of the time.  I used to keep all the ribbons and ended up throwing them all away especially during pandemic.  I just want to live a simpler, mess-free life!  As if throwing a box-ful of ribbons would make a huge difference!  *laughs*

I felt bad for throwing some luxury branded ribbons because I would flex a Chanel or LV ribbon!  :P  But truth be told, I want to show you even the simplest, cheapest ribbon can make a nice hairstyle!

Remember this?

Ahhh one of my favorite hairstyle!  I remember getting so excited when my big sister would hold a hairbrush, hair tie and ribbon and call my name!  I mean, there are days your big sister just don’t want to be bothered right?

It seems so complicated and difficult for me to do as I stare at my sis in awe.  “How could she do this?”  Hahaha she was my hairstyling idol and I remember telling her I’d be a hairstylist when I grow older and open my own salon.  I did not make my salon-dream come true but as a hairstylist —- yes!

Tips: 

1. Comb nair thoroughly before tyoing into ponytail to prevent tangle.

2. You may curl your hair for better results, make sure to hairbrush off cirls for a more natural wave.

3. Secure flyaways withgel or hairspray.

NEW! Too Faced Better Than Sex Doll Lashes Mascara

 

Ah, Sephora Philippines recently sent me their newest Mascara available on their website from Too Faced.

Too Faced Cosmetics has been around for so many years and as much as I have great experience with their makeup products —- easpecially their eyeshadows.  I haven’t tried a single mascara from the brand so this was perfect timing!

One thing I checked, this mascara is ophthalmologist-tested, which is good as I have very sensitive eyes ! SO I made sure I was clear on that department before I further test this product.  I have used this mascara for a total of 7 times for 7 days!  And here’s what I have to say!

My first-try was a good experirence because I like how the tube was heavy enough for me to have a nice “grip”.  Overall, the packaging and the look earn a good thumbs up from me, well considering the price, at least they made it look really good and expensive!

On to the wand, I like the curve side of the brush making it easier for me to reach the bottom part of my lashes which I hardly ever do.

On first layer, I can easily see the lenghtening, it may not look obvious on photos but in person, I can see my lashes increased in length and it darkened my lashes at some point.  Not WOW type of volume but good enough to see the effect.

Bear in mind that I have super thin, sparse lashes so this is the best before and after photo I took.  I can imagine girls having thick and full lashes to fully enjoy the benefits of using this mascara.

What I noticed from this mascara is the nice formulation - non-clumping no matter how many layers I applied!  I was surprised how it can curl up my lashes as well even without using an eyelash curler.  The formulation is lightweight and my lashes stayed lifted the whole day!  

Good news is, no smudging even if I worked out and cooked on a steamy kitchen!

Better Than Sex…STEAMY..what a nice combo!  *laugh*
