Etude House Dreaming Swan Eye & Cheek Purple Look

Happy Leap Year!  I am sharing a super quick look using my newest Etude House purchase, the Etude House Dreaming Swan Eye & Cheek in Purple.  Instead of the usual product review, I'll just insert photos on how I have used this for the past few days and YOU share to me your thoughts if this is something I should keep or not!

At the back of my head, I am hoping you'd say: "KEEP IT!" :P

Boulangerie 22 is My Heaven On Earth!

I am a bread gal!  (Obviously if you try to touch my tummy, all the carbs go down there!) :P  Well, seriously, I'm a self-proclaimed "Parisian Chic" because I used to eat my meals with just bread on the side instead of rice!  I guess, that's because we were raised in a family of "bread always on the table"!

Even today, I always visit bakeries whenever I visit my mom and dad or my siblings!  We always ended up exchanging bread and pastries --- because that's just the way we are --- our language of love is really through ...ahem..food!

So when I got an invite to an opening of the newest and sweetest bakery in town called Boulangerie 22, I had to whip out my scarf and flowey dress, channeling Aubrey Hepburn minus the shades and pose with my fellow Judenite Jane Kingsu-Cheng!

See that happy and contented smile?  Breads make me happy!  (serious!)

The One Legaspi Park Condominium Branch located at Rada Street, Legaspi Village, Makati was decorated with flowers channeling us to the chic city of Paris.

BrowHaus Make-Up Range Launch

BrowHaus, the company, will always be special to me as a Beauty Blogger.  If you are a long-time reader (let's head back to year 2009).  BrowHaus was the first company I reached out for an interview (yup!  I felt like a real reporter back then) because I have readers asking about brow services available in the Metro.  (Read the article BrowHaus Greenbelt Branch Visit)

Fast-forward to today, who would've thought the company expanded to creating their own make-up range?  Well, I wasn't that surprised!  If they perfected the art of Brow Services, it's time we consumers perfect our own brows and eye makeup AFTER the service!

Just some of the products featured during the event.
(Will show you the complete range after the jump!)

The event was held at Cafe Naya, The Palace Pool Club and it was such a fun day for me as I was suddenly called out together with dear friend Jackie and a new friend Bianca for a make-up challenge!  We were each asked to recreate a look by famous celebrities like Gwen Steffani and Angelina Jolie using just the products from the range!  Look at our faces!  We obviously aren't competing but having fun!

Max FactorX Miracle Match Foundation Review

So after a rave review from Max FactorX Skin Luminizer Foundation because of the "brightening" effect it gives which works so well on my skin type, I welcome, with open arms --- Max Factor's newest Miracle Match Foundation.  This foundation has shade matching formula with medium coverage.  As they say, "seamless" makeup is in so I gave this foundation a test and see if it passes my requirements for next-generation makeup.

Leaders Insolution Launch

If you follow me on Snapchat (@AskMeWhats) you can probably tell I'm addicted to Face Masks particularly Leaders Insolution masks.  I have been blogging for more than 8 years, I have tried Sheet Masks every now and then from different brands but I can't seem to put that "mask time" to my skincare routine!  Why?  Firstly, I feel it is a waste of time and money (Sorry, I used to think that way!  Comment please if you feel the same!)

Well, not until I tried these!  The first time I tried Leaders Insolution masks are the Skin Renewal Masks Variant --- ALL 4 from this variant.

Skin Renewal Masks
Php148.00/sheet

In a quick glance, here's how I choose my Skin Renewal Mask variant ---
  • Before my monthly period when I'm starting to see breakouts, I go for the Teatree  Relaxing Skin Renewal Mask.  This mask literally have my favorite Tea Tree Oil scent and it is non-drying!  It does its' job drying out my pimple marks but not the rest of my face!
  • On days I lack sleep and I felt like my skin is lifeless, I pick the Vita Bright Skin Renewal Mask.  This variant surprised me because I really woke up with brighter skin even without using other skincare brands.  And yes, even on first use!  I see results!
  • After breaking out when I see some dry patches around my skin, I go for the Aloe Soothing Skin Renewal Mask, this variant has this wonderful aloe scent that makes my skin extremely smooth and soft after use.
  • On a normal skin days, I go for Collagen Lifting Skin Renewal Mask, seriously, I'm nearing the age of 37 so a boost of Collagen will always be welcomed!
