We Dined at TGI Friday's On a Friday!

No classes, no work last November 30th and we've decided to do some holiday shopping at the same time, bond with the family.

It was packed inside the mall so we've decided to go to the more quiet area of Glorietta which is were Friday's is located.  Ahhh Friday's brought me back to so much good memories.  We were in Senior High then when my friend celebrated her birthday at Friday's!  I had a huge crush on Keith but I felt like he had a crush on someone else (arte ko lang)...so I remembered giving up that day but this man was actually doing all sorts of "pa-cute" making me hate him even more!  Hayyy those were the days...but I was told on the latter part that it was that very day at Friday's he has decided that he will pursue me (awww, haba ng hair ko!)

So fast forward to more than 20 years after, we're back laughing our way to the table.

Friday's is known for huge servings and that night, we were actually craving for something close to home!  So it was a pleasant surprise to see Filipino dishes (with a twist) served at an American Restaurant.

Potato Crisp with Truffled Dressing
Php295.00
As much as I would say I love anything Truffled, seriously, I wish they could offer more chips!  Nakakabitin siya for the price.

Three-Meat Platter
Php1,450.00
You get 3 types of meat --- grilled chicken, Filipino pork liempo and Friday's pork adobo.
Can I pick a favorite?  I can't, they were all surprisingly delicious even though it looked burnt and otherwise.  Seriously, I can't pick a fave and I'm usually not into grilled chicken but it tastes somewhat like Teriyaki.  The Adobo is another star because it is very tender and you can taste real adobo on every single bite!

I just wish this meat set comes with rice because who can eat all these Filipino favorites without rice?

Overall, I had a great time going back reminiscing at TGI Friday's once again!  Will definitely go back with the family soon!

What's your favorite Friday's dish?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

Feel The Difference with Aetrex

I always put my best foot forward in everything I do but what if my best foot isn't at its' best state?
Well, that has been always my case!  And I always thought I have high arch that makes my feet sore after just a few minutes of standing up but thanks to Aetrex, I learned something about my feet.

Aetrex was launched in the Philippines last February 22 in Res|Toe|Run Glorietta 4, Makati.  The brand has pioneered the creation of medically-oriented footwear and foot care products to instantly improve foot health and footwear performance.

I was told that for over 70years, Aetrex has teamed up with several healthcare professionals, countless multi-brand retailers and leading footwear brands all over the globe including  New Balance, Asics, Rockport, Red Wing and Wolverine Worldwide to name a few.

That matters to me!  A brand that has been there for several decades, a brand that is trusted by other known footwear brands.  And they are finally here, in the Philippines!

During the exclusive media launch, Aetrex conducted a live demonstration of the iStep Nova with the help of PETER MALKIN – Vice President for International Business , Aetrex Worlwide.

Nomination Italy For Brides-To-Be

After getting my first Nomination Composable bracelet for Mother's Day.  I easily got my second Nomination Composable with no second thoughts because wearing them everyday is like wearing my favorite watch!  Stacking them looks really nice you can see me wear them on photos and videos!

Because it made me happy to wear them, this brand also turned out to be my "default" gift-giving brand to the people I love.  Check out what I picked for my mom-in-law and how it made her extremely happy!

And the spreading of good vibes did not stop there!  My sister-in-law is getting married next year!  So I've decided to surprise her with her own piece of Nomination Composable because family should have something "matchy-matchy"!

I have known Grace when she was still a Kid!  And I've seen her grow and I've always been a sister to her!  So it wasn't difficult to pick the right piece for her because I know what tickles her fancy.

This is Why We Play Hard in Life

I would like to call my fashion style extremely feminine.  I always tend to lean on cutesy and girly outfits but looks can definitely be deceiving.  If you get to open and look what's inside me, you'll find one tough and hardcore cookie!  I play hard in life, really hard!  I've been thrown with so much challenges and is continuously fighting off some but I make sure to do it with good vibes and style.

Yes, you can still be tough and look as bright as a sunshine!

Cap and Jacket from The NBA Store

The NBA Store in Glorietta has been around for almost 3 years I believe.  Imagine, we house the largest NBA store outside the USA and I couldn't be prouder!

Let's be honest, the last time I was hooked with NBA was 15 years ago, I was rooting for Chicago Bulls then shifted to San Antonio Spurs just because Spurs was my then boss's favorite team and every time the team won, we have a good day --- we were either treated with a good lunch or a day off!  #hahaha

So walking into The NBA Store brought me back to good memories and a whole lot of confusion!  I'm still a girl not updated with NBA games anyways.  But I was surprised how easy it was for me to pick the right merchandise for me and the family!

Live Everyday with a Grateful Heart

That's my motto in life after: "Laughter is not only the best medicine, so as smiling."
That's my happy pill that pushes me to be the cheerful person that I am!  That said, I want to thank the real heroes behind my "persona".

Last Christmas, my parents-in-law gifted me a bangle for Christmas and I remembered not saying much (that's a huge deal because I am NEVER silent!).  I was touched to the core!  It wasn't the bracelet that made me speechless, it was the gesture of being gifted with something so precious that shoots me to the moon and back.

When I got my Nomination Italy Composable bracelet a couple of months ago for Mother's Day  (and even got a second one because Rose Gold was calling my name), I realized how much I wear then on a daily basis and how happy I am seeing my "personal composition" on my write on my notebook, write for my Blog and cook for the family.

Without any special occasion, I've decided to thank one of my superwoman --- Mommy Jeane.

Side Note: I know how other moms have issues with their in-laws, I am so lucky I've got the best in-laws in the world!  --- she doesn't read my Blog, so this is not sipsip guys!  #lol

Still on high from my Bella La Vita rose gold composable piece, I picked that same chain and went from there.  Without much idea in mind on what to compose, I just opted for something classy, beautiful and heart-warming --- because those are the adjectives I would use for my mommy.

And I was able to compose this!

Front part, 2 golden hearts (because she's got heart of gold).  I added 3 stones in purple (2 oval shaped and one circular).

Since I have 2 butterflies on my own piece, I enjoyed seeing it move whenever I move my arm, so I've decided to add one at the back part of the bracelet.

Roy & Biv Glorietta Is As Colorful as A Rainbow!

Let me take a breather on FOOD on just this Sunday.  I feel the need to share this wonderful and happy post because my week was extremely crazy!  So crazy my "this week's planner page" doesn't have a space to write even a single letter anymore!

So let me share something happy and cheery!

I love colors.
That's why I got into Nail Art, I got into make up artistry.  Because colors make me happy!
The first time I chanced upon a store called Roy & Biv located at Glorietta, the store "pulled me in" with all the various hues that I see.

I am definitely humming the song: "I Can Sing A Rainbow" on top of my head as me and my son held hands and stared each color-coordinated "spot" with excitement.

Roy and Biv are a guy and a girl obsessed with color. This imaginary duo share their love for color by searching the world over for things that are colored and presenting them in their store in a most interesting and irresistible manner. They realize that many share their love for color andidentify with a particular color, and their mantra is “We Love Hue.”

Weekend Food Trip at: Tony Roma's Glorietta

Happy Sunday!
It was a super busy week for me and the coming week won't be any different!  It's good though, I am not complaining, I am thanking God everyday for giving me opportunities to work with various people and for giving me the energy to go through each day with a smile!  Well, I also have another secret..... I reward myself by...EATING!

I look forward mostly to weekends because our family bond over food!  I take off my apron and we usually dine out and enjoy our not-so-quiet dinner inside restaurants!  Though Tony Roma's has been around for quite some time, it came as a surprise for me when I realized Mr. AMW haven't dined in this restaurant!  As you all know, I'm not a steak or ribs girl, that's why Mr. AMW seldom request for restaurants he knew I wouldn't be able to have much food choices, so sweet isn't he?

What perfect timing when the restaurant isn't as packed and there was a BDO promo so we had this dish for 50% off!

The Roma Feast
Php1,775.00

Carolina Honeys™ ribs served with BBQ chicken,
grilled sausage, corn on the cob and cole slaw

Fish & Fries
Php475.00
Golden brown fish fillets that are crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside.
Served with tartar sauce, french fries and cole slaw.

Feeling Young at Heart at Zippy Kidstore

I got an invite to visit the Zippy Glorietta 3 store.  As much as I want to tag #KyleNash with me, I had a meeting before and after the Zippy event!  Even without Kyle, it doesn't mean I won't be able to enjoy the store visit because just by looking at the visual merchandise, I knew this will be the store I'll go back to - again and again.

Zippy Kidstore is a children's apparel brand for Portugal and they caters to children from 0-14 years old.

The intimate gathering at the flagship store was fun not only for kids but kids-at-heart!  There are loads of sweets that filled the buffet table, activities and a lot more!

So much laughter and balloons in just one afternoon!

Weekend Food Trip at: Jipan, Glorietta

Wow, for the past 2 years, I can't seem to get a decent "couple-fie" photo with the mister!  When we both had a bit of time to kill with my super momma looking after my son at home, I've decided --- yes!  I HAVE DECIDED to take him out for a date!  A simple food trip because we missed dining in a restaurant without the rush!  Or without me having to feed myself and my son at the same time!

As we were searching for a good restaurant, we passed by our favorite BF-GF hang-out restuarant at Glorietta, JIPAN restaurant!  We used to just sit anywhere and order anything between Sakura and Jipan AND Cheesecake but now, they seem to have this segregation!  So we picked Jipan because I remembered loving their food --- a lot!

And years passed, as we try to still look like girlfriends and boyfriends.... *laughs*

The food at Jipan still tastes amazing!

Gyoza
Choice of Pork or Vegetables
Php185.00
Mr. AMW has always been a fan of Gyoza so he went ahead and ordered this!  I tried one and I told him 1 is enough for me!  The oily taste left a taste in my mouth, it wasn't that bad, but I'm just not a fan of extremely oily food!

AMW Bulletin: Too Cool For School Opens at Glorietta

Check out that happy face!  That's a face after picking up some make up!

Top: Eazyfashion, Pants: Ever New, Sandals: Zalora
Watch: Veloci Bag: Coach
Seldom will you find me strolling around the mall without that "in a hurry" look, I'm always in a hurry running errands and obviously, I don't have time to shop for myself!  Well, I do, I just choose to spend my time wisely thinking about my family than myself!
